Late-season last year, Burrow was injured, Rodgers was injured, Dolphins were sliding, The Prince was injured, the Chiefs were in a 2-3 stretch. The Ravens were set up the best they could be to win a Super Bowl, and didn't. This year, Rodgers, Burrow and The Prince are healthy, and CJ Stroud has more weapons around him. The Ravens are also, overall, probably a little worse. They potentially have one of the best rushing offenses of all time, with King Henry adding to an already all-time great rushing team, but the defense is worse. They are definitely in a much harder situation now than they were late last season, which I think is what Nick is actually referring to here.

The inspirational Bud List is my favorite motivational list in all of sports. Although Brou doesn’t intend it to, The BUD List also creates appropriate fear. Chris is basically Mussolini, or Broussolini. Better to be feared than loved, or both...AKA Pope Vader

This is the only NFL show I watch because you guys actually get along, laugh and don’t take yourself too seriously. Most others just scream and yelling and bicker and you guys kinda do it like brothers and that’s a compliment.

The Ravens had the second hardest schedule last season, behind Pittsburgh, and still went 13-4. They'll be fine.

It’s not like he lost to some scrubs this past year. The team won the Super Bowl. And who knows how that game ends up if Zay Flowers doesn’t pull the biggest rookie mistake of the postseason.

Last year, Nick didn’t even have the Ravens making the playoffs. This year, he’s saying they can’t replicate last year’s success. He’s just a fan like us. Sometimes he’s right, but a lot of times he’s wrong. It’s honestly a part of the charm of the show. Just a group of fans who you know get along is real life, acting like fans and arguing over football and they’ll be wrong 60% of the time. And they don’t take themselves seriously.

Justin Herbert is another QB that continues to be praised for his play but he's never accomplished anything in the post season.

The Ravens had a tough schedule last year and won 13 games with a banged up roster. Their only real loss this offseason is PQ. The other guys on defense were aging and most likely benefited from the scheme. This is why the organization had no issues with going separate ways.

There’s two things we can always count on with Baltimore sports teams like the Ravens and the Orioles.
1) They are both so often injured all of the time and can barely field their first string teams consistently throughout the year. Right now the Baltimore Orioles pitching staff looks like the aftermath of the Battle of Gettysburg.
2) They are both proverbial chokers in any playoff scenario, no matter what their seeding is.

@firstthingsfirst what you guys should’ve done is present the 5 teams that you believe won’t meet expectations and live up to their hype. First you present the favorable things people are saying about the team and then you counter it with why you don’t think they will work out. And to make it more interesting, you could pick from teams that are expected to reach the playoffs or something. Idk
