      Exactly, and here's what's powerful about endorsements : they can Outlast your playing career by decades after your last snap. Mike and Tom and Serena to a degree made way more money post-playing career than they ever did on the field of court. Mahomes could easily join the billionaire club in the shortest time. Possible if he continues to keep his nose clean and wins a few more with endorsements, post-play and career, especially if he continues to invest wisely

A lot of people frame this as "a millionaire vs. a billionaire and want to get a bigger slice of the pie," when in reality, it's player against player because there's a salary cap. That means every dollar a superstar makes on a team, is a dollar another player, on the team, can't make. Billionaire keeps, roughly, the same cost every year. But then his new team would lose picks or players that could help them win. If he waits and signs there as a free agent they still have all those things to help him. A trade only helps the Cowboys. It would hurt Dak and the new team.

    This is my favorite sports talk show cause of the chemistry between the three hosts but I do get annoyed that they talk about the same 4 things 80% of the time. It’s always Mahomes, Cowboys, Lebron and Rodgers. As a Packers fan I wanted to see what they said about the Love contract but they barely mentioned him and just made the entire topic about Mahomes. Love these guys but they need to switch it up some.

    Cash in the bank is what matters, not contract headline. Nick was spot on when he put the stat that over 2023-26 and over 2024-27, Mahomes is best paid QB. Chiefs do a good job of structuring Mahomes salary to manage cap space…and still making Mahomes #1 in pay.

  • @favored777
    @favored777 Месяц назад +1

    The biggest thing everyone is missing is it takes two. The Cowboys could have offered much earlier or wanted to start negotiations earlier but the agent of these players understood that the longer he hold out knowing the other deals would be coming on other QB’s and WR’s. That’s agents 101. If that’s the case the Cowboys had no leverage once the process started. Signing two years early is the only option, again, only if the agent is in agreement. Their job is to get the most money for their players and if waiting is the leverage he holds then he’ll use it. Class is in session! 😢😊😮

      @@matthewwilliams4168, I have no idea how many Supers Bowls KC and Mahomes will win have but right now KC has 4 SBs. Mahomes has 3. Mahomes has at least 10 years left in his career. It’s very possible that Mahomes wins more than 5 overall SBs, and the Chiefs win more than 5 SBs overall. Andy Reid is coaching the Chiefs 6 more years. That means he retires when he is 72. I could see Reid winning 3-5 more rings. The possibilities are endless. As a Chiefs fan I’m enjoying the ride and not taking it for granted.
