      Nah. Deshaun Watson actually plays. He's not scamming the team. He's just not good. Ben Simmons is practically a con-artist. This is more like Westbrook to the LA Lakers. It's not just that the player isn't good but they gave up so much to get him that the team is going to be a train wreck for years even if they get rid of him. The effort is there, the skill just isn't. Tell me the last time you saw Ben Simmons give any effort?

    • @mattiOTX
      @mattiOTX День назад

      @@coreysanders6197let's be honest, baker was Clevelands guy. He did well with a musical chair of coaches with the browns and still had them competing for their division. When Stef came in to HC for them he went run heavy with short passes on curls and slants. He never trusted a QB with his schemes. Had baker played hurt where he still did decently with his Injury. The browns made a massive mistake. Baker would not have been as expensive as Watson. They would have been able to keep drafting decently enough as they had some good hits in the last decade. They would have had some cap space to bring in extra help where they need it. Last season baker played really well even with the bucs who do have weapons and a solid team. The browns had weapons of their own and would probably have been playing for a playoff run again. The browns dropped the ball. We all knew Carolina was not a well put together team when he went there. He balled with the rams. Baker would have been a consistent upper tier guy for them and they would have seen a culture change except the owners and fans got greedy and decided to take a massive gamble by trying to break baker before sending him packing and picking up Watson with all the cash they had saved. The problem that turned this into a dumpster fire was the fact that Watson was in trouble and it kept him away from football for a long time. He might get back to where he was but by that point the brown team that was built by solid drafting and decent free agent moves is going to dissolve.

Could be because the Browns defense is good. Turpin scored one, and the defense set up for points off turnovers. But a win on the road is always good. I don't care how we get there. I stand with you...for certain reasons he has been anointed as "elite" and he stinks on ice most of the time; his record shows it. and Cleveland is just THAT stupid

    Rex is going to bat for Watson, not criticizing him. Dan is the one being critical

    Memo to Dan. The Browns have no RBs. Wouldn't it seem logical to come out of the play action passing game? With Chubb, absolutely. Without him, and with no OTs? Did they slide the pocket to protect the OTs? Did they spread the field from sideline to sideline and give the QB options? They did once and got a TD. They never did it again.
