I am mounjaro the 7.5. I notice when my blood sugar gets around 115 or lower I feel like I need to eat. I think i am so use to having high blood sugar that when it gets in the normal range I feel weak. I am in the process of trying to get a Libra 3. Thanks for all of your good information. I hope to loose some weight as my dosage increases. I am 5ft 3 inches and weigh 147 to 150 most days. Want to go to 135. More of a normal weight for my height.
T2D here. When I used Libre 3 it would give me false lows a lot and there was no option to calibrate. Sometimes it would be off 30-60 mg/dl. I’ve since switched to the Dexcom G7 (which allows you to calibrate) and it has been much more accurate. I’m on basal insulin as well as 12.5 mg of Mounjaro and am slowly decreasing my insulin. Hoping to stop it altogether. Mounjaro is truly a miracle for those with T2D that are able to tolerate it. My A1c went from 9.6 to 5.7 in 3 months. Thanks for your videos!
i love it i am on 12.5mg now and this is my second week on it. it does lower your sugar. i don’t even take my insulin no more because the mounjaro handle it. the highest a1c before mounjaro was 14. as off three months ago it was a 9 now i believe i am at 6 or 7. i will see next month.
I was on Mounjaro for 9 months. Lost 50 lbs and lowered A1C to 5.7. Unfortunately I got pancreatitis. I didn’t realize that many people taking Mounjaro have elevated lipase levels from the medication. In trials, tirzepatide-treated patients had a mean increase from baseline in amylase of 33% to 38% and an increase in lipase of 31% to 42%. Placebo-treated patients had an increase in amylase of 4% and no change in lipase. My gastroenterologist told me that about 28% of those with raised levels developed pancreatitis.
@@BeardedMounjarbro I had to go off the medicine and can’t take any GLP1. It’s been about 6 weeks and I am doing ok. No weight gain so far. Diabetes seems to be in control as long as I watch what I eat. I guess the weight loss has helped. I was only on a 2.5 dose. 😢
2nd time listening to this video, not ably to comment before but my hubby has the libre2 switching to the 3 soon. Thanks for the tips. Oh and our Endo suggested using the finger stick if available during LO readings from Libre2 as that’s such a common problem with them. I know it defeats the purpose of convenience of the CGM.
I have had lows but only on 7.5 and on 12.5 oddly enough. The lowest being 28, my libre 3 just read LO but my actual meter will read down to 20. My go to for low bg is peanut butter. It works fairly quick and lasts longer than a glucose shot or chew.
What blood test should i ask for from my doctor other than a a1c, been on 15mg for 4 months my a1c went from 10.9 to 4.7 my pants went from a 42 to a 34 i think im losing to fast.
I am not sure on the actual test. My endocrinologist did a blood test on me and told me that I had some type of gene favoring type 1 diabetes. But I am a type 2 currently.
I have been on mounjaro since Feb I guess and started having issues in the summer ….do you have an email or messenger where I can message you privately ?

Hemoglobin
Were you getting your meds. I can't get my 12,5 for over 2-3 months. This shit is getting pathic2😂12 es
There are some compound pharmacies out there that have it all the time.
How did you feel when it showed that your sugar was really low?
Scared and not as dizzy as I thought I would be. But I think the shock and the brain can cause alot of that also if that makes sense.
Wow that's way too low. Eat a few grapes before bed.
