Thank you for the information and detailed analysis of various employment contract. Looking forward to your video on taxation.
It is also worth mentioning that with full time employment in Australia, you get a standard 5 weeks annual leave entitlement
Good to know but doesn't apply in every work place. Some only get 4 weeks.
Thank you for the weekly dose Chioma❤
You are most welcome.
I love hearing your pronunciation of video: vid-Jo. I teach English to non-native English speakers, so I love to hear various dialects and interpretations of words.
Oh, thanks!
Thanks for this update ma. If things equal , the way I'm planning. I will reach you
Thanks, Chioma, for the insights. Can you please share more on foreign taxes? That is how foreign workers on TSS 482 visas are taxed.
I believe you will find the video I just uploaded on taxes useful. It touches a little bit on this but other things to help you understand how taxes work. Thanks.
It took. me so long to understand why people prefer to be casual than take the permanent contract offer... this is eye opening. Well done sis i will back for part 3 - salary sacrifice 😁
It definitely has its pros and cons. It's not for everyone though. Thanks, sis.
You're truly heavenly sent🎉
Thank you my dear.
You are so welcome
Try getting a mortgage on casual or even a loan for a car.
Casual would suit me as I don't have a mortgage or any loans and don't need to borrow.
This lady too sabi 😂 I do enjoy your videos, lady chioma also love and willing to come to Austria 😊
Thank you and all the best in your plans!
Hi Choima, what are the challenges you face with your studies and casual job?
Can caregivers do the casial shifts?
Hi Chioma, can an international student work full time on a permanent contract however since they are limited to 48hrs work rights per fortnight, commit excess 28hrs as voluntary?
Or would best to engage in a permanent part-time role?
Thanks
I believe if you want to claim your excess hours as voluntary work, you must not be paid for those hours. That's my guess but I am no expert on these things unfortunately.
Sista, Chioma, I have been working as a casual employee for a very long time and my boss is changing my contract type to a full time employee. So As a full time employee am I going to work on a public holiday or not ? Thanks, Sister?
I believe that's a question for your boss. Nothing stops you from working during public holidays even as a full time staff if that is how your work place is structured.
Hello Chioma, can you claim tax from study fees when you are an international student?
A tax agent can help clarify this. Some say yes, some say no. Therefore, I am not sure but I just uploaded a video on taxes and actually attempted to answer your question there.
Please can I apply for work and study at Australia
Hi chioma .......is it easy to get casual work on a visitors visa in Queens land? Coz that's where am planning to come with family for vacation.
Does your visa condition allow you to work?
On a visitor visa, you are not allowed to work.
Being casual did not help during covid. No one could have forseen covid but a lot of people suffered who were not in permanent posts. I believe one partner must have a stable income especially if there are children involved. This is great for students part time mothers retired or people with health conditions and external responsibilites.
Yes, it is good to be aware of the pros and cons of each contract type to make an informed decision.
Pls I'm a driver can I get job in Australia
Hi chioma
Hello Mrs chioma, please do you have a telegram group? I’ll appreciate I’m added to it. I sent you an email but no response. Please I need guidance on migration process to Australia. I’ll anticipate your response. Thanks
No, I don't have a telegram group and I do not offer any immigration service or guidance beyond the videos on my channel. You may want to find and speak to a migration agent/lawyer. Goodluck!
Lovely skin and Nice Video
Thank you!
