A minor controversy ensued after the single's release, as the lines to the chorus ("...Golly jeepers/Where'd you get those weepers?/Peepshow, creepshow/Where did you get those eyes?...") were found to be too similar to the lyrics in the 1938 song "Jeepers Creepers". To remedy the situation and to avoid legal action, the band gave co-songwriting credit on "Peek-a-Boo" to Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer.
I remember being at a party back in the 90s when this episode was on. My friend and I thought it was cool that my favorite band & her favorite band were in the same episode. (Hers being Pantera, who is also in this episode.) Still as hilarious today as it was then.....
although I agree with everyone comment here, but yes this band does have one good song! is called "Cities in Dust" it is their most upbeat, and great vocal singing plus it has a decent note being hit that memorable, but yes this peek-a-boo sucks. Liberalism choice i guess.
omg cracks me up when he sings peek a boo over and over
I always remembered that line about this being for people without friends. Just like me lol, I love the Banshees and I have no friends : (
Lmao This is awesome. I love that they had Siouxsie and the banshees on their show.

124 people to date do NOT have any friends
ja!
funny, but i feel like a better siouxsie song could have been on the show
+mewshojobeat I hope there weren't any that are worse. That song is horrid.
Yeah but B&B wouldn't have anything to make fun of if they put a good song on.
It is a cover song too, which makes it even funnier , coz it's not even an original Siouxsie song
I think it is their song. They just had to credit the songwriters of "Jeepers Creepers" because of part of the chorus.
