    You can also add a thinned down layer of a super thin yellow glaze. Even better if it's fluo yellow. It makes the green blades glow much brighter.
    Do it after all the highlighting. Optionally bring back a tiny bit of white as a last step on the brightest edges

    Fantastic work. Very informative. I've just bought my first box in prob 20 years. Reignited a hobby. I bought the flayed ones which have proven to be extremely fiddly but satisfying to build. First time painting in a very long time and I think they came out OK. But watching this I'm going back to add alot more highlights. Thank you for a great video 👍👍👍

    Quick question: do you leave the swarms off the base until you have finished the basing or do you just base the areas you can reach with them glued on??

    • @TableTopReadyYoutube
      @TableTopReadyYoutube  Год назад +3

      Long reply: I based these scarabs whilst they were on the base. It was kind of annoying though. It’s really up to you. There’s no right or wrong. If you take them off the base, I would just mark the outline with a pencil so you know what areas to base 💪🏻
