I love this mod, it’s the only mod I could find that has this kind of realism.
And it also gives the feeling that NPCs have AI.
Agreed. By far my favorite minecraft mod.
try minecolonies 1.20.1
Love this mod. Used to play this a lot back in the days in Minecraft Beta 1.5, i was kinda bad at it but nostalgia is so strong here :D
Soo they are building there own city/village? That’s pretty damm cool
This mod is ancient. It's an OG. Existed before Forge mod loader was even conceived. Back in the days when you had to manually install the mod files into your installation of minecraft and delete META-INF for it to work.
@@jerichosamurai haha, the good old day, remember how much of a pain in the ass installing mods was, now it's a piece of cake. Kids these day don't know how hard we had it back then
@@xtiancolquhoun7410 I never actually played much minecraft back then. As I was only about 7-10 years old. But I had seen videos of it on RUclips and became immediately fascinated with it. I miss the old minecraft sometimes, it has a certain nostaligic property about it that warms your heart.
@Mançurhan Khan yep
@Mançurhan Khan they stop at a certain point I think, I've never really seen them complete a build though, takes a really long time to finish a village.
But yeah kudos to the mod creator, the a.i is very well thought out
Its really interresant how the norman buildings have really a nordic/viking look, as their history says, i loved the Sheep farm! With sure the shepherd is the second villager in the entire village that have a luxury house! :>
Someone from 2024 in here...?
I also mixed serene seasons and millénaire it just works so well
Better of all : give very more realism
I downloaded this mod just to get villagers that actually do something productive
Then can do many things for try to survive on the bizzary world of the minecraft
Would fit perfectly in a realistic modpack
Yes it is tho some realistic mod may be slightly incompatible with it but i think they are still working on it, just remember to backup before trying something and enjoy!
Would it go well with another mod that adds civilizasions like saythe Lord of the rings mod?
Saythe lotr?, like the one that lets you get teleported into the middle earth through a large ring? Sorry I forgot, I've played on some lotr mod a long time ago.
I not really sure if millenaire villages can summon on middle earth, but you can try it.
But I have played millenaire with other civilization adding mod and a majority of it works so still give it a try, enjoy!
Ever heard of the no cubes mod?
One of the best mod of whole Minecraft
I can't wait for the dev to port this to the newer versions. I wonder if the dev will also port it to Fabric as well.
Damn. Even a mod's npc can build houses/villages better than me
this is incredible quality for a small channel
Thank you!
This is my favorite mod on minecraft can't wait to get a new pc and play it again.
How about doing a millitary village verses a millitary village as a timelapse?
Yes i'll be doing that
@@jerifiction9144 2 years ago...
Best mod
Yes indeed!
Another question is if I can still find the vanilla villages and if so, are they hostile against the mod villages? And how about the trading in the mod villages, is it worth it or even more rewardful than in vanila villages?
Millenaire villagers don't really care about vanilla villagers, they only care about other mobs if it harm them in anyway. Trading with millenaire villagers specially if a certain village is a trade village is much more rewarding for me, there is just a lot more stuff and also there is this random trader visitor from other cultures that sells there stuff on the village market sometimes. And there is a currency system which is much more fun than emeralds
@@jerifiction9144 yeah, you also gain reputation by trading with villagers, and the stuff that they sell is what they need. So you can't find them selling obsidian. Their stock is also limited, the villagers have to get that resource to sell it, you can also just raid the village and kill the NPC's in it and unlock their chests, but if they traded with another village nearby, then that village would know. Meaning they're gonna see you as an enemy.
Serene Seasons is really cool with this mod but it causes it some issues when winter comes since the water freezes and their crops won't grow, which results in them not being able to get any food unless you manually fix the problem.
Sounds almost like a irl problem.
@@ravenartistofficial It's technically realistic but really slows down village growth.
But that is what is supposed to happen to villages irl
@@jerichosamurai it isn't a bug. That's what's supposed to happend
@@mystorioconscript3787 It is a bug because it's two different mods conflicting. It's unintentional.
They did this with no help? Oh that's impressive
Thank you!
A shame this mod isn't updated anymore. I'd love to have it when 1.17 finally comes out.
Maybe they will, i hope so. The last update of this mod is just last year with the new turk civ. A lot of other mods that I use to play are still on 1.12 version. Maybe they are just waiting for the major mountain update cause thats a lot of new stuff and tweaking.
pretty sure they said they are updating it but due to forge rewrites they have to write the mod completely from ground up so it will take time.
Does the population also grow?
yes, though the maximum population may vary between village types and how many buildings are in them because what I know is that before a family raise a child they need to ensure a building is available for when they grow up.
What other mods are you using for this videos?
Serene season, optifine, better foliage, and replaymod for recording
@@jerifiction9144 ok thanks you ^-^
Do they build further or do it stop at some point?
They stop at somepoint but if you achieve the highest possible status in a village, then they will grant the ability to spawn another village of your own
good
subscribed, even tho i barely play mc anymore
Thank you!
Fun
What are mods that goes great with millenaire?
LightniingBlood I would say biomebundle
Can I choose what cultures I only want in my world? Because I don’t like my Japanese culture mix with for example Indians, that doesn’t fit at all if they raid
I don't really know if there is an options for that. But cultures spawn at a certain biome, japanese and inuits tribes usually spawn at cold biomes like the tundra and pine tree biomes
You can press M while ingame to access millenaires options there might be something related about culture spawning in the settings
@@jerifiction9144 Is there a way of adjusting the spawn range? Because I Use biome bundle and I want the villages from this mod being more uncommon and rare, so that it feels more rewardful to travel. So setting the range of those villages to like each 500 chuncks or something
Yes you can, in game press M it will take you to an option menu of millenaire. There you will see something like village generation or world generation. In it you can search for an option which says distance between village. I don't remember the exact names of the settings sorry.
@@jerifiction9144 okay nice
If only the mods was update to 1.16 :(
What version is this?
version 8.0.0 but there is now a version 8.0.1
@@jerifiction9144 it's also for the MC versions: alpha (something I don't remember) to 1.12.2
How many days was this ingame?
was this on 1.7.10?
I really would’ve wanted to see the inside of the manor 😭
I too 😭😭😭😭
