I love the way you talk your painting. It literally helps me think about the thing painted and look at it through your eyes.

Thank you for the lesson, your comments while you are painting are of great help to learn and progress, so to watch at the same time the colours you are using and how you mix them, great help for who, like me, is looking to improve painting skills.

Thank you for filming with the step by step explanations: I agree with all other comments praising this video. Showing the palette and how you mix colors was fantastic. I may try this one myself!

I love a good Cab. I don’t eat cheese anymore, no dairy but a little dark chocolate with wine is divine! I love your paintings. I’m an artist as well and enjoy still life paintings. Lovely.

I am a absolute beginner and had a great day doing this painting wich turned out pretty good! Thank you! About your comment at the end about describing the colours you use, I do appreciate it when mentioned at the beginning, but you did mention it as you went along. I just got up and went to get the right paint! :) So for those who don't need to see what colors you use or the mixing, you guys are pretty more advanced than I am! ;)

Thanks for the video Aleksey this was very helpful, I just painted a still life with cheese, grapes and wine as well. And no, you don’t talk too much. I like these live streams and I find them reall really useful, I’ve learn a lot from you. It’s good that you talk all the time and explain what are you doing and why are you doing it, these kind of talks are really instructive and I’d prefer you talking and giving tips rather than only watching you paint. It helps us to understand your process. You don’t have to talk about your process only, you can talk about everything (literally, everything) that is in your mind. One of my favorite youtube channels, Our Painted Lives, for example, talks about mostly art and painting process at their videos like it’s a podcast, but they also talk about everything else as well and they are really fun & instructive. So it’s totally up to you but I’m not annoyed of you talking, in fact I like it :) Keep up the good work Aleksey, you’re amazing!

I like all of your paintings. I wish you would post more like this with commentary. Also what is in the cup you use to thin the paint?

This subject might be a bit tough for a first timer because of the reflective glass and liquid. I would recommend something much simpler, like a pair of eggs, or some other simple not-too-shiny objects.
