Hey! Thanks for checking out the latest installment on our Fury project! This week we'll keep at the left side rear sheet metal, and splice the right front fender with a nice piece from our parts car! Also a fun SDI on a sweet BMW 320 from 1989... Agent 223 stops in in his sweet old Galaxie, and Frankers is showing off her big stick! *****Please hit the ol' "like" button if you want more Fury vids, ( It really helps the vids get seen) cheers!******* If you'd like to support our show, please visit our website at: www.coldwarmotors.com for Coffee Mugs, Dealership Decals, and Hats... All the very best to everyone from me and Frankers and the Agents! s
Well, sketch me up, look me over, Spray me lacquered up in the clover. When it's done I'm looking good now, All smoothed out with a matching hood now. UP
I love this stuff. I work in a restoration and collector car sales shop plus work on my own stuff at home. I never niss your videos. They're educational as well ad entertaining.
This is pretty much my idea of what Heaven should be. A yard full of 50s cars, plenty of shop space, a paint booth, the skills to be able to use it all, a great dog, and plenty of beer. Asking more than that is just being unreasonable.
One man’s “relatively decent condition” is another man’s “holy crap I wouldn’t touch that with a 10 foot pole”. You sir, are an optimist and a miracle worker!
I think most of us hit like and then watch the video because it’s like pizza, you know it will be good just because you know who made it. Unbelievable what you have done with that Fury. Can’t wait for the next chapter. 👍☮️
That ford brings back some memories. I had a red on black rag top with a 390 four speed. Had another 64 rag top with a 289 automatic. That was a basic car. No radio no power brakes. I paid 50 dollars for the red one it was only 10 years old at the time. Running driving car. I think I paid 200 for the other one. Also running driving car. Good ole days.
Hi scott and frankers. Yes i love the sketchy dustins! Keeping the lights on, and the damn mosquitos out. Man, shes proud of that giant stick! Another splice? Hell yes! Galaxie is really a cool cruiser. I hate shoveling almost as much as mowing. Put the plow away and get out the mower! Gravely is a mowing beast. Agents job. Lots of it. Massive amount of trim is scary. Lots of work to get it right. I cant wait till you give it a splash! Its been one hell of an undertaking. But shes coming right along nicely. We went out last njght so im late viewing. 700 likes already! I love this same old S.H.I.T.! Best on YT! from the U.P. of Mi.,. revved up yooper. P.S. i must say how much i love Frankers, she ALWAYS makes me smile.
Ha ha ha love the blacksmith's pliers, I had a pair like that, everyone laughed but I used them all the time. I would be wearing leather gloves and have the car jacked up on stands with the wheels off if I was doing that job.
Frankers and that "stick" cracked me up. She really had a good time with it. Dust ins are great! You make it seem so easy. And the fury is really progressing! So much work but when it's all painted no one will ever know, which is so incredible to me. Your craftsmanship is so superior! Thanks for sharing!
Earl Sheib eat your heart out!!! Then Frankers runs by with her big log and totals out the whole bmer you just finished! Lol! She's coming together very nicely. Now where did Frankers get the crazy big log fettish anyway? Lol! She's such a dilly! Well, better that than chewing up and running off and hiding your hand tools, which would cost certainly alot more consternation I wager. With a tap tap here and a bang bang there, here a tap there a tap,and a ubiquitous oh fuck! Old McScottald had some cars, and he fixed the hell out of them. Lovely. Thats just an edelbrock, don't look at that, lol! The shame and nerve of it not to be a Holley or fomoco! Lmao! You guys are legendary! And hystericall!!! Thanks again! ▪☆☆☆▪
Awesome video, as always. If you are removing a piece of sheet metal with spot welds and you aren't trying to save it, I use a cut off wheel to grind the individual spot welds down to paper thin. Then the piece falls right off with no drilling and no holes in the underlying metal. Of course, if you are trying to save the part, drilling is pretty much the only option. The fabrication going into the Fury is absolutely amazing. My hat is off to you.
Another great vid from CWM!! The fury is looking great!! Get that spaceship finished. I can't wait to see the end product!! Francine will be the belle of the ball in the passenger seat.
Glad to hear you "hint" at saving that awesome 61 Plymouth... it's as cool as your 60 Fury! Chrysler Corp. put a big dent in GM and Ford sales and effected there styling dramatically because of there awesome "Forward Look". I think the 61 Plymouth is one of my favorite year Chrysler products.... like the 59 Chevy there so ugly you got to love them! There defiantly a love it or hate it car... I love them! Of all the 1961 car brands, Plymouth is one of my favorites. You will NEVER see that wild artistic styling ever again. Can't wait to see it's renovation start! That Galaxy is nice too. I had a neighbor, when I a kid, that had one from brand new... it was blue with a blue interior, and had the 352. As I remember it was loaded, power windows A/C, the works. He was an engineer at the Ford Proving Grounds. He knew what was good and what was bad that Ford made, and always bought what he thought was the best car Ford made.
It’s so relaxing to watch a man enjoy what he’s doing the way you do Scott! The end results though climactic cannot compare to the meticulous care and attention you put into getting there! I love your vids!
Always up for the skilled metal work. Like that valance that's "not bad". Looks like it was run over by a D-8 Caterpillar on the Hoover Dam Project. But, it's not rotten so it's "savable" since you could make it from a piece of flat stock. Tell Frankers not to scratch that Chevy with her stick !!! ;o) 😉👍👍
You could offer this Fury project as a Autobody curriculum for school. Its great to see how you create contours and bends with the sheet metal. Frankers inclusion in each chapter is awesome! She collects sticks like you collect vehicles. Always something new and interesting.
Hold everything, a Fury episode!! Anything scheduled will just have to wait. A dog and a stick, something so cool seeing that, so glad you include that great pet/mascot in your videos
Corrosion over there seems just bad as here in Scotland. but it is no match for your excellent fabrication skills. Brilliant inspirin stuff. Thank you.
Dear Scott, Just great viewing and so interesting! Just love it! One gentleman touched on the Mopar Swedish connection, this is very true ! The Swedes love mid-century Mopars especially convertibles . They started importing interesting cars in the seventies when they were cheap and today you see so many a rare classic cars at Swedish shows ! One year at the Power Meet they had ten 1959 Dodge Custom Royal convertibles and a Coronet convertible. What a sight! The Swedes are crazy for Mopars and the have a very good mechanical and cosmetic spares backup etc... you can find most things for these cars but prices are high etc . Cheers
I remember back in 64 riding to school in a brand new 64 Galaxy convertible That was Salmon with white interior 427 4 speed that a well off Nebraska farmer bought his son. And he had a friend that had a 64 Plymouth Belvedere 426 4 spd that his farmer father bought him as well.
When I was a lad my neighbor got a new Ford every year. I can remember her taking us out in her red 64 Galaxie XL convertible. It was raining so the roof was up she told us not to touch the top of it would leak, of course we had to see for ourselves.
I did 14 years in a european (mechanics) workshop here in nz. The only place the E30s usually rust is on below the windscreen outside of the black plastic vents. The area that is covered by the rear corners of the hood. I don't know why there, but I've seen a few rot out there and nowhere else. As you have probably discovered there are early and late tail lights for them. The E30s were so much better than the E36s. I like the job you are making of the fury and you are good at making the compound curves of the lower fender lips. That is a real skill. Something to be proud of.
Great, great, great. Perfect start to my day before heading in to work. Love the SDI interlude. A nice pallet cleanser 1/2 way through the Fury meal. You and Peter Anderson are two of my favorites. You both are excellent craftsman. Nice to see you appreciate and support each other
Frankers deserves a big stick for a big dog. She's a cutie. Scott- you're an excellent sheet metal surgeon. I noted your 3 AM comment. I guess that comes with the territory of a self-employed shop owner. Those are my kind of hours- always tried to work night or midnight shifts as a truck driver and a machinist. I like Agent 223's Ford convertible. Overall, this video is an A+++.
Sweet '64 Galaxie 500 convertible. Until recently, I had a '68 Galaxie 500 convertible, rebuilt 390 V8, C6 automatic, etc., etc. Great old land yacht. In fact, I sold it to a guy in Canada. I'm way down south in Georgia, but I put it on Bring A Trailer and this guy from just outside Halifax, Nova Scotia was the high bidder. Took awhile to arrange shipping that far, ha ha. As usual, another great video. Frankers maybe bit off more than she could chew with that giant stick, though, yeah? ;-)
The reason that a lot of high end cars from Japan are left-hand drive is that it was a sign of status. The rich owners, and you needed to be seriously rich to have an imported car there, even something relatively modest like a BMW 320i, could get out on the kerb side instead of having to get out into the traffic. In a lot of parts of Japan sitting on the wrong side of the vehicle (Japan is a right-hand drive market) isn't too much of a disadvantage as the traffic moves so slowly that you really don't have any chance of overtaking anything anyway...
The wildfires you are having in Alberta, Scott, are pretty serious. We are now getting smoke from those fires in the northern part of Washington State.
Taking that parts fender off reminded me of doing much the same thing with just my dog and a beer to help me along. I'd be playing some '70's music in the background, maybe Bob Seger or the Eagles, stuff like that........
I like the little diversion /quicky paint job fillers. Showcases your flat-rate dealer skills. Nicely done. Fury fender repair quite nice. Galaxie ragtop is super cool. Power windows!!eh?
Scott, great progress on the "Fabulous Fury", although I was getting worried that you were going to gash that nice 4 ply when you were removing what was left the previous quarter......that would have been a shame......LOL. Keep the sketchy dust ins a comin'
The sketchy is strong with this one - if it wasn't for the taillight, you'd have to point out where the damage was. The Fury work - more fine work as usual. I'd never seen a fender removed so fast in my life :) Frankers's hauling around a branch twice her length proves she's not just a pretty face. The Galaxie 'vert is ok - but that's just a MoPar fan's opinion. You can't beat a convertible for fun when the weather's right. But did the Agent bring enough beers for everyone? Typing is thirsty work! Cheers!
Are we fresh out of splices? Hmm.... Love dust ins. Gotta keep the lights on man. Luv the galaxie...i hada 67 fastback for years...i shoulda kept it. Cant wait for the next plymouth episode keep up the great work!!!

CWM does Cut n Shut and we do Brexit :
@@toosavvy3504 I'm betting we'll see the Fury before you guys see Brexit. Good luck over there. What you need is an armed citizenry.
I love this stuff. I work in a restoration and collector car sales shop plus work on my own stuff at home. I never niss your videos. They're educational as well ad entertaining.
Frankers is a star Good SHIT Have a great day
This is pretty much my idea of what Heaven should be. A yard full of 50s cars, plenty of shop space, a paint booth, the skills to be able to use it all, a great dog, and plenty of beer. Asking more than that is just being unreasonable.

My definition of purgatory; working on old motors. I applaud you for your diligence and smarts.
Why is watching someone spray paint a car soooo relaxing??
Good call on the fender !
I think most of us hit like and then watch the video because it’s like pizza, you know it will be good just because you know who made it. Unbelievable what you have done with that Fury. Can’t wait for the next chapter. 👍☮️
What a great way to end a Saturday night in Melbourne. Frankers is so entertaining and silly and all the other work is just so good to watch. Cheers.
You guys are great, thank you for showing the rest us how to be great! And thank you Frankers for showing us your mighty fine stick.
Instead of "Pizza by the slice" we've got "Plymouth by the splice". Been watching your channel for years. You do it the right way my friend

"There must be forest fires near by because it really smells smoky, more so than usual around here" 😂 😂 😂 😂

So much work but when it's all painted no one will ever know, which is so incredible to me. Your craftsmanship is so superior! Thanks for sharing!
"Perfect." Frankers being inspired by watching lots of bodywork being done! Well that stick bears a certain resemblance to the "new" valance.
You're fabrication skills are AMAZING and that BMW is sweet

More Sketchy Dust-ins, please!! Some summer time salvage yard vids would be great!! Can’t wait to see you laying down some paint on that Big Beast!!
Simply amazing
Brother it's all junk, until it's all done. Then it's ours. You do great work! Be proud of what of what you do!
Shaping up right nicely
Watching a Fury being reborn on a Lazy Saturday afternoon!
NOT BAD!
Nice hustle on the beemer!!pimp with a limp!!!
Beautiful Galaxy, loved the 352.

Once again another great video showing how to work with sheet metal. Thanks for the great content Scott
I can't wait till it's time for wheels on this car.
You know hes good when he looks at the front valance and says it's not badd Looks like It was ran over by a tank and he can fix it , Very talented man
Great, great, great. Perfect start to my day before heading in to work. Love the SDI interlude. A nice pallet cleanser 1/2 way through the Fury meal. You and Peter Anderson are two of my favorites. You both are excellent craftsman. Nice to see you appreciate and support each other
Another fantastic video. Ill be waiting for the next.
That's a pretty nice stick! It really ties the yard together!
Nice progress.
you give much more attention to build this Fury that it was given at the assembly line,
this car will be very deserved.
it is a superbly nice job
Hey from Australia 🤘The work on this is excellent tends to give me some motivation to work on my projects Best show going no doubt
Frankers is becoming an internet celebrity
more fury i love it.
Frankers deserves a big stick for a big dog. She's a cutie. Scott- you're an excellent sheet metal surgeon. I noted your 3 AM comment. More amazing metal forming and joining. A 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 with electric windows must be a true rarity.
Thanks for sharing your skills with us perfect strangers.
Excellent
I thought for a min that Frankers was gonna run that big stick down the entire length of the freshly dusted Beamer. lol
Sweet '64 Galaxie 500 convertible. Until recently, I had a '68 Galaxie 500 convertible, rebuilt 390 V8, C6 automatic, etc., etc. Great old land yacht. In fact, I sold it to a guy in Canada. Killing it as usual , nice to see you wielding a cup gun like boss :)
Frankers says “stick around folks”.
Awesome episode!,

Lol, you want a drink, no I brought my own, love you guys, great video !
Can't wait to see Frankers behind the wheel of that Fury 👍😆

Earl Scheib would be proud of the BMW paint job--actually, he'd probably say, "3 coats of base?!?! Not for $99.95!!!"
Nice patch work and Galaxie at the end is a great car, drive it like it is.
Nice paint job and dust....
The wildfires you are having in Alberta, Scott, are pretty serious. We are now getting smoke from those fires in the northern part of Washington State.
Thoroughly enjoy your SDI episodes, Datsun 510 a favourite...but then all CWM vids are an absolute pleasure to watch, many thanks.
Keep up the good work. 🙂👍
Taking that parts fender off reminded me of doing much the same thing with just my dog and a beer to help me along. I'd be playing some '70's music in the background, maybe Bob Seger or the Eagles, stuff like that........
Just what I have been waiting for , another Fury video ! Awesome
Just as I wanted to start doing unloved work this new CWM was posted. Thank heavens ;-) and 👍 again even before I watched it !
Tip from Texas, when painting in the driveway wet the ground around you project it keeps the dust down and atracks the pollen
Another great video. Can’t wait to see the Plymouth on the road
I cant believe how much metal you shape from scratch!!!
Lebowski reference for the win.
I like the little diversion /quicky paint job fillers. Showcases your flat-rate dealer skills. Nicely done. Fury fender repair quite nice. Galaxie ragtop is super cool. Power windows!!eh?
Ahh! 🇨🇦 More Canadian content !! Excellent work on the Fury & the BMW !! The Galaxy looks like it needs some Dusting too . Beautiful car otherwise !
LOVE THE SKETCHY DUST INS! GREAT VIDEOS KEEP THEM UP
Scott, great progress on the "Fabulous Fury", although I was getting worried that you were going to gash that nice 4 ply when you were removing what was left the previous quarter......that would have been a shame......LOL. Keep the sketchy dust ins a comin'
didn't know screwdrivers with ratchet adapter on the back existed. Cool tool.
Love the work on the 60 Fury. Can't believe the job you did on the passenger quarter, It's just beautiful. Look forward to new vids! Thanks!
Can't wait till you paint the 60 Fury it's going to be slice nice
More of everything please
I LOVE you guys. Also, RIP Roky Erickson
Franks. iz da bomb!
The sketchy is strong with this one - if it wasn't for the taillight, you'd have to point out where the damage was. The Fury work - more fine work as usual. Twenty seconds in and I've had my first shot (Frankers Cameo). This will be a good video. Ha!
Are we fresh out of splices? Hmm.... Love dust ins. Gotta keep the lights on man. Luv the galaxie...i hada 67 fastback for years...i shoulda kept it. Cant wait for the next plymouth episode keep up the great work!!!
