It really is amazing to think that the Prodigy wrote this tune back in 92/93 and it was released in 1994. It still holds it's own with the best electronic tunes 20 years on.

The Prodigy is a part of my being. They’re in my flesh and blood. Saw them live - The Prodigy experience Aston Villa Leisure Centre. I was 14 years old.
This proves that you only truly experienced The Prodigy was live, then it was obvious exactly what Keith and Maxim brought to the amazing aggressive sound. I fuckin love The Prodigy, the greatest dance music act ever, there will never be anything even remotely close to the power and awe that these guys showed at their peak back in the 90s!!! RIP Keith, you and the guys are by far the best thing to come out if Braintree. The few times I saw these guys play through the 90s were some of the best days of my life and will never be forgotten!!!
Amazing live act. Absolutely knew how to rock/rave/party/headbang/dance and just lose it. NO other dance act has EVER come close to the energy of these guys. RIP Keith you absolute cool dude :(

Heart goes out to Liam, you can see the camaradary between him and Keith. Liam is such a nice bloke too, he must be devasted to lose his 'brother of rave'. Its so so sad that the band cant play glasto this year, they are the best live band ever, rock, rap, blues, rave, pop, whatever, they nail it every time. Keith, you'll be sorely missed, Liam, you're a electronic genuis (and Max rips up the mic), keep strong brothers....

I saw the 'firestarter ' video for the first time on Top of the Pops way back in 1996 and it completely blew my mind . The next day I went to the music store and purchased ' Music for the jilted generation' . That was it . Prodigy fan for life . Rest in peace Keith !

I turned 40 last week, so these guys were with me from school till now. Seen them 4 times over a 20 year period & absolutely gutted. Nothing will beat the Jilted Generation album, although Fat of Land comes close. Currently off work due to mental health issues (prob due to too many pills in the 90s) & Saturday just gone was my worst night for months, I was at a tipping point & it blows my mind that Keith was in an even worse place & took the next step. Emily Eavis says they were booked to play Glasto this year. Gutted. RIP our little "firestarter".

I know people who suffer from a condition created by the viper that is the pharmaceutical industry, that is so hellish it makes people commit suicide because it is so nightmarish we can't even imagine. It's called akathisia, btw. Suicide is a relief to those people, and I wouldn't take the only relief they may have from them. Doctors can't help. Nothing can help. So yes, sometimes it is necessary.

still get the hairs stand up when i hear Android, your love, pandemonium and takes me back to a warehouse in Cambridge seeing them in black and white and aving it on stage.After those tracks they just escalated into a higher realm, always progressing but never selling out (Charlie was and still is a huge track and original at the time whatever mixmag said !!)

I saw The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers at a gig in Blackpool in the 1990's. Before Fat of the Land. Myself and my friend were the only two moshers in the room (heavy metal looking with long hair, leather jackets, etc). We looked so out of place that we expected to get jumped by the end of the night. We couldn't have been more wrong. As we headbanged all night, everyone was so pleasant and friendly. Cut to post-Fat of the land and The Prodigy brought together the moshers and the ravers into one family. Nobody did more for that cause. Chances are it saved lives, beatings and made people understand music is a universal language.
RIP Keith. Wish I had chance to meet.
