Yeah I heard the 250x and 260x had their problems but other than that they were supposedly a big deal back when they first came out. I’m friends with someone who owns a 2008 Ultra 250x and I’m also acquainted with someone who used to be a QE at Kawi in the watercraft division but said person obviously doesn’t want me giving out their name because they don’t want to be bombarded with questions
This comment is quite old and sorry I did not see it previously. A friend of mine has a 2007 Kawasaki ultra 250X still to this date that has over 500 hours on it. Just standard maintenance services done yearly. All freshwater use which helps a lot on Kawasaki because they don't like salt water especially with the poor quality cast aluminum used in them however if they are run often these things will last a very long time just like every WaveRunner and Sea-Doo out there. It's the ones that sit around for a long time that suffer an early fate typically
@@AndTodaysProjectIsI agree that maintenance is key. I had a 2004 Kawasaki STX-12F I did the KP 148mm pump upgrade on and other than that, just regular maintenance. Got it up to 600 hours then sold it to buy a 2023 Kawasaki STX-160LX. My buyer called me the other day and said the ski has 750hr on it now and is still running strong
Two people on that ski will be hard to catch! On the calm
