Food grade silicone grease would be a better choice of lubricant for the 'O' ring seals than using olive oil. Just a thin smear of silicone grease is all that is required.

I ordered one for mine same year & everything & had the same issue. & when I went to return it customer support took forever & when they did connect they told me to keep it & they refunded me 20% of my $100+ order… I was frustrated & disappointed

thanks. it worked. pin was recessed, put a drop of oil around pin..pulled it up. cleaned up the corrosion...and all is good.

Does your tank has a siphon tube? Since i hear people say you have to put the tank upside down so you get liquid instead of gas not sure why though

This is going to get long, but I had to vent. I had the same problem last summer and it almost tore my sanity to shreds. They KEPT. GETTING IN. I was waving around my hand held vacuum cleaner like a weapon and sucking them up but nothing worked. I cleaned, rearranged the room and cleaned again. I tried spraying the entire place with lemongrass essential oil till my desk mate cringed when I walked into class. Sealed shut the windows. Everything. The room is closed tight. Like not even a breeze gets in, and it's not even food. And before the flies started I had like, one boba tea on the desk in my room, and that's it. And they just keep buzzing around, drawing close to me and then just leaving. It was driving me nuts. For every one I get like two other show up. I got so stressed and angry at this happening and living alone out there for the first time I almost cried because It felt like something I did wrong that caused this, because no one else seems to have this problem, or they deal with It so well. It was just a lot of stress and horrible all around. I've since moved. And I finishwd up writing tonight just now and came back into my room to three flies in the room. I am so mad and feel so horrible I just want to sleep, and I just, turned on a light outside and waited till they all flew out. And then using the light led them to the bathroom and locked them in there. And now I'm in bed like trying not to sob because last year was a nightmare of THREE CONTINUOUS WEEKS. And I have midterms like, NEXT WEEK. I hate this. I hate everything and I'm not even close to my support system and everything sucks.

No bro they are cluster flies and they are starting in your attic or basement because they go there when it’s cold then they cluster together in a spot to try and escape hence the name. You have to spray the outside of your house to prevent them from coming in the next season. Trust me I had it so bad one year. I came home and there was a storm of them at my back door and window. Almost 1000k. It was chaos. Me and my mom set up bug zappers in the doorway and we each had a bug assault gun and we went to war. The battle raged all day and finally around 11 pm we shot down the last couple. Fly corpses littered our laundry room floor.

If you have condensation issues, you have a cold surface that warmer moist air is hitting to condense moisture. Adding the mylar/aluminum insulation above the rug will trap moisture as the air can pass by the edges. You either need to totally seal the vapor barrier to avoid condensation, or heat the cold surface to bring it above the dew point.

Just carry some plastic pinch off pliers instead of going through all that mess.

Thanks for the video. I am looking into a soda stream or drink mate set up. I am spending too much on seltzer. I think I'd make a rack that supports the CO2 cylinder so it's not hanging all that weight out there on the valve body and adapters. That seems like a recipe for failure down the road.

Update, the actuator is still working today with no problems... Driving through deep water with all of the constant rain we've had in Houston with no problems
