For the very small pieces, you can attach them INSIDE the mug. That makes a fun reveal when the beverage is finished. I love it.
My head went to a honey mug decorated with bears and then one of those things that hang over a baby's crib, haha. But as a tea-lover I couldn't be more delighted by where you went! And the black outline on the mug really elevated it, it looks great.
It's called a baby mobile. :)
On a pot of Hunny would be so cute!
Or a teddy bear holding the tea and a honey comb mug 😱😍

that was what I was guessing with the metal hoops!
I think too they would be cute as a ceiling fan pull. You know you at the end of the light chain and fan speed chain. But you might have to put the wire all the way through little bear.
Or make a wind chime with bells
I was rhinking they'd look so fitting on some easter branches as well since they're more of a spring theme. But I guess in Australia they might have more spring/summery christmas ttree decorations? 😅

Awww, I love them as tea buddies! I had assumed they would be small ornaments for a small tree - I enjoy the idea of keeping a table-top sized tree all year and decorating it differently for each season or month or whatever. I'd have an artsy Care Bear decorated tree through the summer for sure.

Look into “tea pets!” They’re common in Chinese tea ceremony.
These, as well as any smaller figure, can be used for plant picks. They would look nice stuck into a potted fern or other leafy plant. I am really enjoying this series as well as all of your work. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures.
These are so cute and you definitely should make miniature version of your Aussie animals with the same purpose to go with your cups. Imagine buying a koala cup with the mini koala tea strainer holder. It would be so cute!
Care bears were started by American Greetings in Cleveland, Ohio, in the states. As a kid, we would go to Cleveland to see the Christmas lights and they had giant Care Bears on buildings in lights. Was always my favorite.
I just commented the same thing! Some of my favorite memories going to see the lights. I grew up in Euclid

I get what they were going for, but yikes.
They look like Glücksbärchen (=german for "little happiness bears") a kids film in my childhood. They are rainbow coloured, living in rainbow land and each one has his own super power to make sad kids happy again.
The black outline not only makes the colors pop but it also gives it that cartoon drawing edge.
I love that you pushed yourself. I mean, please show us the bear mugs, because I know you're gonna kill it, but also thanks for doing your best to think outside the box. The edits were so fun! Loved your creativity.
Now, that's so adorable and right up my alley. I love my hot tea. I wish there were versions of your little bears that had a clip or a spiral wire loop to attach the tea bag strings to, too.
If you figure out a way to make such a thing and you like the result please, feel free to keep and run with the idea.

You could use these as hidden critters in the bottom of cups! I love those hidden critters that slowly show as you finish your drink. 🥰

They remind me of those plastic counting bears that we'd use in primary school (in Australia)! Especially in the colours you chose, as soon as you opened the kiln I had a flashback memory to school :) They look great as tea strainer charms!

The little bears would make a great little pendant for kids necklaces... It would be the central pendant and add beads on either side to make a necklace... It could would for necklaces for grownups, too... They will be really sweet and extra!!! ❤❤❤❤

Years ago there was a nurse where I worked and it was her birthday. One of the other nurses got her a present of a coffee mug. She handed it full of coffee and a few minutes later we heard a little scream. There was a small ceramic frog in the bottom of the mug. Such a fun thing to gift her. She loved it.

I love those tea strainer holders that look like a Japanese fisherman sitting on the edge of the mug which is so cute and makes it more artistic looking I guess you can call it.

These bears would also make cute Christmas tree decorations. They have their paws clasped in front so you could easily add the year and/or a sign for baby's first, second, etc Christmas.

These bears remind me of a set of tiny plastic counting bears my grandma had for when she taught preschoolers. Hers were different colors, but still super cute. Love them!

Oh, I love the set! I thought while you were painting the cup that it wasn't going to look good. When you opened the kiln, OMG!!! They're beautiful and make me smile!!!!
Since these are so small it may be cool to make a chess set with them (or the next wee mould). The leaning over ones could all be pawns and painted with a solid glaze and you could do designs and patterns to indicated the King, queen. rook, bishop, and knight. Just a thought but love what you did here!

I thought maybe a small seasonal tree decoration.
People have those small artificial trees and change decorations for each season or just decorate with their favorite things.

Love the care bear vibes and the mug has most of the care bear pictures that are on their bellies 🥲🥰 so cute!
I could see them as the handle for a little pot that could hold honey, or on top of a wooden honey spoon, as well. Goes well with the tea theme!
I would put them in Easter Eggs, because I would die of glee finding some of these cuties in Easter Eggs!
I love these! What a great idea for them. Care Bears were part of American Greeting Cards out of Cleveland Ohio. Back in the 80’s they did a huge Christmas light display in downtown Cleveland of CareBears and it is one of my favorite memories! We knew them from the cards before they became the popular stuffed animals/show/movie. Thanks for bringing back some great memories today! I have a bear about this size that my mom pointed in a pottery studio in the 80’s as a care bear ornament that still hangs on my tree every year.
As a child of the 80s, this speaks to me soul! I made a dress out of a 40 yr old Care Bear bed sheet, it's so cute.

These are so cute! I’m so impressed with the antiquing! I make jewelry, and I have a tip for jump rings- open them sideways. That way the ring is much easier to line back up to close it.
At the end of every single one of your videos, I find myself saying out loud "Shelby is just the cutest!"

Omg I LOVE these. When you first pulled them out of the molds, I actually thought they looked like Koalas. But I love where your mind went with them, i loved care bears growing up and am such a tea person, so this episode just got better and better with each surprise!
When you put the wires in the bears my first thought was Christmas tree ornaments. Yes it's winter in Australia but I'm sure you've found other Xmas related moulds at other times of the year.
