A few products from this review were sent to me by Banggood for testing. This does not mean that I do get all my products. I review also a lot of products I bought myself. I started these reviews because from my experience not every tool from China was worth buying. So I wanted to make in-depth reviews to show you which products you should consider and which product you better leave alone. The fact that Banggood sent me products occasionally does not change the way I make my reviews.
I still give in-depth reviews and give you my honest opinion! On this, you can count on! I have a good experience with Banggood.com and they have a lot of woodworking tools nicely organized on their site.

Hello, I'm 71 living in California USA. I have a grandson (6 years ) who loves to play with my tools. But at that age there are only a few tools I would trust him to use. A pocket hole jig would be the perfect start for him learn joint making. It will be past on to him when I am gone (along with my other tools), not to mention I would love to have one. Great channel by the way. It's hard to find good tools at a reasonable price.

The colour scheme reminds of a Douglas Adams quote “It’s the wild colour scheme that freaks me,” said Zaphod whose love affair with this ship had lasted almost three minutes into the flight, “Every time you try to operate on of these weird black controls that are labelled in black on a black background, a little black light lights up black to let you know you’ve done it. What is this? Some kind of galactic hyperhearse?”. Black is so cool and I would use it until the end of time.

Doing this series on Chinese tools was an inspired idea, Dennis, and I've really enjoyed watching them.
I'm part way through a house refurbishment and have a kitchen and wardrobes to build soon, so this jig would be extremely useful!

Hey Dennis! I think it's great what you're doing here, not just this generous giveaway but your helpful & insightful reviews on the many tools we've all looked at and been contemplating whether to buy or not. You've probably saved thousands of dollars for a lot of us. Thanks again!
I'd love to have that jig not just for the obvious reasons of it's functionality and usefulness but mostly because it's a one of one item designed and built directly by you! Thanks in advance if am lucky enough to be selected as the winner. And if not, good luck & congrats to whoever the winner is -
    Thanks Dennis!

I am starting into wood working and find it very satisfying when I complete a project. My mother-in-law found some plans for a project she would like me for her. The project requires a pocket hole jig and of course, I do not own one. I have been doing lots of research to find one that would work well and be of good quality. Your reviews are of a great help.
Thank you for creating such wonderful, informative reviews and great content.

Hi Dennis, I'm about to begin the build of an assembly table, and have been collecting some of the tools, you have recommended. The Kreg K4 jig has been recommended by many, but I just can't justify about $100.00 for something made primarily of plastic. So, thank you for finding and reviewing a much more affordable option, that's NOT plastic! I would be honored to own the jig you are offering, because of the base you have created for it. I've seen a bit of your work and appreciate your attention to detail, quality and precision. Plus black MDF is so very rare in the States. I'm hooked on "Hooked on Wood"! Thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos, to help us newbies.

Hi Dennis. This last year I got into woodworking. I built my wife a pergola and ended up getting hired by some neighbors to build a custom swing. While those big projects were fun, I found that I am more interested in doing furniture and smaller projects that require more detail. I’ve been watching your channel over this last year and have been keenly interested in your workbenches as well as how detailed your reviews and projects are in general. I do not have a pocket hole drill tool in my shop setup yet, so that is something I would truly appreciate!
With that said, I would also ask that you to do more project videos on your channel. Thanks for your great content!
    Very Respectfully Dave

I bet this item has gone now but my reason for wanting this item is that at the age of 65 I have found my vocation. I have always liked wood from a very young age but was never taught how to make things properly or how fa what type of tools to use. With your programs I have found my love for Wood again and want to start making lovely things with Wood. Sorry for my rant but I truly have found my love for carpentry and will be looking to go back to school to learn more. P.s thanks for showing us how to use these wonderful tools. Kind regards Don Kent

Hi Dennis! I never win lottery, but have been meaning to write you anyway to express my admiration for your inspiring work. You’ve given the word ‘precision’ a new meaning. Your fairness and an uncompromising sense of taste in everything you do gives a lot of motivation. I am a musician myself, woodworking is only a passion of mine and I’d like to have your pocket jig on the H.o.W platform, so I could build a desk and a chair for my son (4 y.o.) and begin a journey of furniture making - something that’s been on my mind for as long as I remember myself. Thanks for sharing your mastery!

Hi Dennis, I've been searching for a pocket hole jig like this one for 2 years now. Never really knew about them untill I decided to make a kitchen with face frame and inset doors. That's when I realized I have to have one in order to finish my project, but there nothing like that in my country to rent or borrow except for wolfcraft one from a friend of a friend but it is not easy to use and you have to compensate a lot with different manouvres to achieve repeated results.... The project is still in stand by, so yes I really want the jig and the wife really wants the kitchen done already :)

I bought a couple of tools from Banggood before I found your videos, Dennis, so I have followed your reviews to see what else you thought were good buys. I have since bought a few things based on your recommendations and am very pleased with the results. I have to confess I have never used pocket holes to make joints so seeing your test was very interesting. I'm planning a media cupboard for all the kit that goes with a home theatre so may try pocket holes for some of this build.

Hi Dennis. A few days ago I found your channel and watched all of your videos. I like this China Tools series and your honest verdicts. It seems that some of these tools are worth it.
And your workshop is great. I like it. It looks very nice, clean and extremely stylish. And all these small ideas and solutions for normal every day problems. Great!
At the moment I am also building my own workshop from scratch in the cellar of our recently built house. I can tell, there are MANY drawers to build to organize the whole workshop. Drawers are way better than normal cabinet doors. So I really would appriciate to win this cool and stylish pimped pocket hole jig.

Hi dennis, i found your channel completely randomly a few months ago and I must say I got hooked on your channel with the first video I watched. At the same time my brother started working on wood projects out of my parents basement so I recommended him your channel, which brought him to banggood. He is now complaining often to me that because of you and me he has a huge wishlist there which he can't afford... But he's taking on bigger projects for neighbours and friends and with the money earned buying a few tools each time. The other day he told me he was waiting for your final recommendation on pockethole jigs and would try to buy one as assembling furniture without one is really a chore. I think he would be extatic if he got one from you with your gorgeous black mdf styling and the superb logo.
Anyway thanks for making all those videos for us to enjoy, you've become my favorite wood related channel.
    Cheers from Luxembourg

I really like your series and am working on bathroom vanities and an entertainment canter where this tool would come in quite handy. Thanks for your analysis Dennis. I’ve made several purchases from Banggood based on your recommendations.

I just finished the plans for a workbench and a cabinet and would like to use pocket holes to assemble some members. This jig would be very handy!

Hello Dennis, I’m relatively new to your channel but I find you, your style and information on my hobby to be invaluable. I’ve already purchased so many of your 5 star rated tools which I’ve just received. They all look and feel incredible in the hand and I have already used several. I’m working on my own pair of HOW tablesaw zero clearance inserts. I wish to thank you for opening my eyes on improving my dust collection for that item. I would enjoy being your “lucky bastard” to win your pocket hole jig for my shop. Have a great day and I can’t wait for your next video.

I've finally started fulfilling the dream of building out a wood shop and I have so much shop furniture to create. This tool would be fantastic as I was going to need something similar in the very near term anyway. Win or lose, I've really enjoyed a ton of the content you've made and have gotten a lot of inspiration from your ideas and tool choices. So thanks for the content and keep it up.

I've been going over all your videos and recommendations for pocket hole jigs as I am embarking on a cabinet making binge for a home remodel.
I absolutely love all your videos and I love that workbench as well. The black mdf looks so sharp!

I'm very new to woodworking and will be retiring from my working life in 3 years. I'm very impressed with your projects and the practical advice you provide. I would be over the moon to start my future hobby with your self made pocket hole jig. Regardless of my winning or not, I look forward to seeing your future videos.

I have never used a pocket hole jig, but I want to. I plan to build a version of your workbench and a pocket hole jig would make it much easier!

I found your channel a couple of months back and I have found the China Tools reviews to be extremely helpful. There is a lot of junk or sub par kit out there and so anything rated highly by you is worth having. Thanks for taking the time to produce these very useful videos. I check here now before I buy anything to see what rating you have given it. Many Thanks.

What you said about quality and price is true. I've encountered the same issues while looking for a doweling jig that worked the way I wanted it to.
Almost all of them are made in China and the quality varies greatly. You can get them from the US (which China appears to just copy) but the prices are astronomical in comparison.

I want it just because it looks so much cooler than my setup. When friends come over, I’ll ask if they want to come to my garage to see my pocket hole jig.
They’ll be like, “you’re what!?” And before they call the cops, I’ll explain to them it is not what it sounds like. It’s in fact a woodworking tool.
Then when they see it they’ll be like, “ahhhhh. That’s a sweet jig.”

Hi Dennis, I really like your China Tools videos. There is so many rubbish you'll find on these websites. So, to see whether it's worth ordering a tool or not, your videos are perfect. Thank you!
As for the pockethole jig... I really like the platform and your design elevates the jig to a next leve, nice job! And the laser engravings are the icing on the cake.
I really hope you will reviw the laser engraving machine in a video.
Keep on rocking, Dennis, you're doing a great job!
