I personally prefer this one to Delta Highlights or AP Highlights. Probably because this is run by one guy and a few friends, meanwhile Delta is a company and AP is literally a sub-account of Associated Press.

2:00 Hearing people who aren't goalies start complaining about that is hilarious. You can tell when a strap breaks on your helmet, and with the helmet being much less secure, it can move around more and come off way easier. You don't play with a broken mask.
Do you know his mask was broken from hearing about it at the time or from something you see here? A goalie definitely shouldn’t play with a broken mask but I see where the announcers are coming from when all you have to go on is what you see here. It definitely looks like he just ripped his mask off to stop the play - I’m not saying that’s what happened because I obviously don’t know, that’s just how it looked.
As a former goalie losing your mask and the ref not blowing the helmet right away was one of the scariest parts of being a goalie

Omg the Islanders announcer acting like Stalock shot someone when the strap on his helmet came undone and he pulled his mask off is ridiculous. It's actually pretty dangerous if a goalie mask isn't on properly. I get it was bad timing but that announcer needed to chill and take it down a few notches.

They do. But they are meant to unclip when you get a shot hard enough so the helmet absorbs all the impact and not your head. So they are designed to fall off sometimes.
