Right at 10 min. Martin the music starts, with the wind blowing through the tree's and I can see the smile on your face!!! It is the type of music that puts you to sleep and makes you never want to go back to the city again!! I know it well and it is priceless!!
That picture of you in front of your cabin and the smoke coming from your wood stove pipe and the sound of the wind blowing through the the tress, is priceless Martin, thank you so much!! For a one person show Martin, yours is Number 1!!!
As I sit in my log cabin having coffee while watching you have your tea at your log cabin, I can't help but be aware of how far technology has come to allow this to happen. Thanks for sharing, I enjoy having my morning coffee at your cabin from the comfort of mine.
You remind me of me and my dog, Mac. I have a little campsite/firepit in the woods in the back of my small farm. Mac and I used to go there and build a fire and make coffee and just relax for a bit. Good times. I really miss that dog.
I hope your videos never end, with everything that’s going on in this country you find a way to maintain your sanity. There’s one part of me that would love to know where the cabin is located and the other part that never wants to know.
On these cold, dark mornings, we fire up the wood stove and kick back. My wife turns on the Hallmark Channel, and I check to see if Martin has a new video on You Tube...and was pleasantly surprised today! Thanks, Martin.
Had to laugh at the jays, loading up their beaks with as much as they could carry! Get it while the gettin's good! Thanks for making my morning coffee time relaxing yesterday.
I bet there is a good story about how you came to hang that little moose half rack above the door and I would love to hear it in a future vid if you're up to it. As always I enjoyed your latest episode, don't ever quit sir.
I make sure I have a quiet time and place to watch your videos because I thoroughly enjoy them. This one was great as usual. I especially liked the slow motion shots of the grey jays!
Watched this vid on 3/25/21. A classic!! Watching you trudge thru the snow, skiing on your trails, the snow falling, you explaining a couple of items hanging on the cabin and winding up to the chance of hearing a wolf or two howling. Also, the slo-mo of Canada Jays. Not sure how I first came upon your videos, but I’m sure glad I did.
Thank you Sir! Finishing a cup of coffee this morning enjoying the scenery, thanks to you. I think I will rustle up some oatmeal and get going on my Prayer & Devotion time. Appreciate how you helped set the tone.
I sure enjoy those Canadian Jays. Would also like to thank you for the timing on posting your videos. I love getting up early on Saturday morning and settling in with a hot cup of co
I grew to hate Minnesota winters, and now winters in general,, but I love watching your videos of such a pleasant time.. Thank you.. .. ..I noticed that we do the exact same thing, except my sitting out is during the summer here in the desert.. :)
Another wonderful episode, Martin, Loved the Slo-Mo of Them Grey's ! Great lil trek along & A Hot Cup Of Tea To Finish the Video, Thanks, Friend ! Happy Trails From The Snowy Maritimes In Canada ATB T God Bless
Nice one Mr Martin. I live in the tropics, so seeing all the snow makes me envious. But I'm sure you must like the sun too. So if you ever feel like sitting under a coconut tree by the beach and watch the sunset with your number one fan please let me know.I will be so happy to show you my neck of the woods. Take care and may God bless you.
Greetings from Alabama. I enjoy watching your videos and your simple frugal lifestyle. I feel like I’m at home in your cabin. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
We are experiencing a midwestern winter storm as I’m typing, I can imagine your cabin in the snowy winter offers an insulated and even quieter setting than in the summer. Very lovely!
Fantastic shots of those Jays. They are so beautiful. I had to laugh when the one on the table spotted the one on the ground and decided to grab and extra mouthful. You are such a good photographer.
Martin, I'm sure you have told us but how many days was this trip, and how much propane is needed for your stay ? Also, that was some incredible footage of your Gray Jays. Thanks and thumbs up !

Thx for this video. Pretty snow falling. Like to watch gray Jay's eat. Be careful and safe. 😊
Thank you, I will
Martin, always taking care of his Grey Jays!🕊
They repay me in all the joy.
I love the mood when it's snowing out in the woods. No wind or any other noise. Just gently falling snow. So hushed and peaceful.
That picture of you in front of your cabin and the smoke coming from your wood stove pipe and the sound of the wind blowing through the the tress, is priceless Martin, thank you so much!! For a one person show Martin, yours is Number 1!!!
The jays have mastered the art of glide, slide and hide. Thanks Martin for my morning smile! It may just take me through the day. :)

Thanks once again Martin for taking us along,
Watching your video is a refreshing break from the junk on T.V.! Keep up the good work.
Love watching the Jays try to figure out how to get two bits of pancake before flying off.
I love the sound of the wind blowing thru the trees! I sleep like a rock when the wind picks up.
I regulate heat in a rustic cabin just like you. I get a roaring fire going in the woodstove and then I open the door.😊
Slab Bulkhead it’s good to clean the chimney of creosote that way.
I do the same thing and include opening the windows
Now this is a luxury! Love your videos - love you too - you're a great guy.
Love that long shot of you sitting outdoors at the very end!
I make sure I have a quiet time and place to watch your videos because I thoroughly enjoy them. This one was great as usual. I especially liked the slow motion shots of the grey jays!

Nice surprise.
Always !!

Haha!! We are waiting for the storm here on the east coast(NJ). We wouldn't mind if you wanted to keep it!!! Enjoy your day!
Nice being there in a storm If I do not have to worry about driving out of the forest before the roads get plowed.
Your are a good host Martin to have extra food prepared for your guests.
Awesome !! love your videos !! God bless
Very nice peaceful video.
Quite peaceful and very relaxing. Thank you
Fantastic shots of those Jays. They are so beautiful. I had to laugh when the one on the table spotted the one on the ground and decided to grab and extra mouthful. You are such a good photographer.
Such willing models make it a lot easier.
I agree with the comment from J ar below, Martin, and I so relate to your passion for the woods and cabin life. All the best, Lee.
In order to watch your videos of your cabin life I have to leave my cabin and head to the city, how ironic is that lol...
I threw some bread on my balcony a few ago during the winter expecting 1 or 2 birds to come by. There must have been 15 that showed up...lol
Awesome as usual , Thank You.....
those birds are really cool
Another great video thanks for sharing with us martin
Martin, I'm sure you have told us but how many days was this trip, and how much propane is needed for your stay ? Also, that was some incredible footage of your Gray Jays. Thanks and thumbs up !
This trip was 11 days. A 20 pound propane tank lasts about three weeks. Maybe 4 in the winter because so much water can be heated on the woodstove.
