tamakyu I think it's great. I would never do any of this but I love to see it, and for someone with anxiety like me it helps me a lot to get into sleepy mood. in any form, I love music, it is very dreamy, and soothing, even so, I want to see until the end. by the way, I love it when you talk too

I'm insanely impressed with your tiny clothes making skills, especially with knowing how difficult it can be working on small pieces. It is beautiful!! I just noticed too, it could be easier for you to use iron on interfacing with your taffeta instead of gluing the edges if the dolls are going to be moved around as it would stop any dressing or bubbling of the fabric.
Thank you so much! I'm still learning; I think sometimes it takes me longer to make something doll-sized than it would to make a human-sized version 😅
Do you mean the pink fabric? I'm not sure interfacing would have worked so well... I'd be nervous of the adhesive being visible through the outer fabric (since it's really sheer-more like an organza than taffeta) and the slightly patchy colour that interfacing has (in my memory anyway 😅). For less sheer fabric though, I see your point! I do think it would have been a good choice for the skirt edges. The glue made it hard for the layers to drape properly, which is already tricky on tiny clothes... I think if I'd used a little strip of fusible stuff instead of folding and gluing the edges, it might have worked better!

tamakyu honestly I can see why, I used to construct wedding dresses and the big stuff would take a couple of hours. Beading and such would literally take days! Ahh fair enough, it looked a lot denser on screen but you did a really really great job regardless! Beautiful work 😊
though i'm not a big fan of the blond hair with tanned skin look, i'm agreeing to say it's an amazing work!
I'm normally not either, but I think that because this hair is more beige- than yellow-blonde it works well! Thank you!

I listened to a song called Russian Christmas Music while watching this and the finale lined up with the finished shots of the doll and somehow suited it so well (though maybe not so well in anyone else's opinion, I do like the music you chose to go with it)

Not everyone involved in the swap is on RUclips, so there won't necessarily be many videos to find! Dollightful, Elfy's Dolls and Anastazia Custom have already uploaded some, I think, and I know Moonlight Jewel is making one too, but I don't know if there were any others, sorry!

I actually have a Twyla faceup, which I've filmed but not yet edited, with brown eyes, so that will be up soon! Other than that I think I have one or two others, but I'd definitely like to do more brown eyes-they're so beautiful 💕

I want to share patterns, but I need to make another prototype or two because I always make changes as I go along and forget to note them on the pattern 😅 I'll do my best to make them shareable sometime soon!

I wonder if i can do something with bratz dolls, MH and EAH dolls are hard to comeby where i live...
I will give it a try and see, but honestly i did not like the way the new bratz bodies are made with stiff upper arms and that small upperbody, MH dolls hawe much better made bodies but i only found one in a trift store here so far, however what would life be without a good challenge? ha ha! :)
Lots of people do Bratz customs! You'll probably be able to find lots if you search "Bratz repaint" and things like that~! Unfortunately a lot of newer MH and EAH dolls have fewer moveable joints too. :(
I still hawe a dream of making Fantine and Cosette, but i want to try before i place the Obizu bodies (i finaly saved up money to order a few from Japan after i hawe drooling ower them for a long time... :D Just sad that Nordic import taxes realy suck... ) under the knife...

In that case, practising on any doll head of the same material and a similar size would definitely be helpful! Also, I order all my MH/EAH dolls online-try your country's eBay or other marketplaces if you're still looking~
Thank´s for the tip! I will take a look. I will try to put up a video if i sucess with that project. The dolls shall arrive on sunday they told me, but i need to save more money to buy better colur pens then those sheap ones i hawe at hand...

I don´t want to be that guy... but, i wonder, why on earth people prefear those glued wigs when one hawe an option, those glued things was probably one of the worst things to make i ever done in my life... ha ha! Unfortunatly i need to do glued caps anyway for my Obitzus...
Some people find them easier/quicker than rerooting; I think for me it actually takes longer to make a wig, and I'm never very happy with it! 😅 What size are your Obitsus? Making a wig for my 25cm girl was the worst, definitely... her head is so tiny!!! 😓
I guess i did lot of things wrong and used wrong types of material, i used som old yarn after my grandmother so i guess it was natural fibers that could not be stretched, i did not had a hairstraightener or a pet comb, i use a filecom from my fathers garage iguess it was a bit to rough for the yarn, i will take a look at the fleamerket here if i can find something better. i finally came out with a method combing out the yarn strand by strand and it took like forever.. ha ha! Then i used carpenters glue wich take eons to dry, and finaly I realised that i don´t even own a working hairdryer anymore... ha ha! I think the heatgun was way to aggresive then. Think i hawe to re do things and do it right next time. But it was a realy fun experience and i hope i learned a thing or two for the next project. :)
My Obitsus are 27 cm (mainly because my other dolls was about that size allredy, except for those creepy bratz... ), i choosed the smaller head, i sort of regret that now since they are extremly small, i think the bodies had looked better with a larger head, maybe i will correct it by order som smaller bodys in the future and larger heads for those i got. However i think it´s just a matter of style. They siad the smaller heads will fit those bodies and i think they do when i tried it on, i used a steelpencil to adjust those small eyes that i ordered with them (the heads are hollov in the eyesockets, but i thik they also hawe heads with solid eyesockets for painted on eyes, i was just curious about those type of eyes) i must say that i like the eyes once one got them in right place.
I think i will put up a video once o got some progress i want to show... :D
