    I love it! It's so much better than increasing to decrease, or using scrap yarn to sew the hole shut!

    I always have that issue with underarm holes, so thank you for this. I'm knitting a top-down sweater right now, so this will come in very handy.

      @@jamescoxknits One trick I'd heard about and tried was to pick up a leg of the stitch below where the hole is likely to appear and knit it together with an underarm stitch (don't know if I'm explaining it right), but I found that that method often just moves the hole elsewhere.
      I can't try out your method just yet or visit your website, because I have a tight work deadline and have had to put away all temptations. Including the Field Sweater I'm working on.
