I subscribed to the Claude AI premium service on Amazon for my Echo only to find out that this is an Alexa skill not an updated enhancement for my Echo devices. Every time I want to use it I have to clearly say "Alexa opened Claude AI"which is very inconvenient.
Me and all of my wider family (UK). Use it to do the usuals: multiple timers that I can name, asking for the time/date, a weather overview, lights/plugs on/off, playing music. Also use it to call my parents through Amazon Show but I also use it to call others by landline or mobile as both are free to do so. Add to that settling arguments about the longest river, oldest actor and song names plus I have many routines setup to perform certain tasks either by voice activation or by IFTTT interaction with set times or sensor detection. In a nutshell, then, I and my family use it pretty extensively. I am looking forward to trying out the vaunted AI capabilities although I am not sure what else I would expect Alexa/Claude to do outside shopping recommendations; something I don’t use the technology for now and am unlikely to use in the future.

Claude will probably be 30 days free and
then something like 9:99 a month
An AI from a company that couldn’t care less about privacy. No thanks. 🙂↔️
