Dr A please tell me how much difference does a lab report of lipase show on fasting vs non fasting like when we fast over 12 hours we get low lipase levels???
Apparently fasting too long can raise lipase. I can’t really find by how much. It probably varies between people. The thing is that this test is most used to detect pancreatitis in which it will be 3x to 10x higher than normal
