jack being like “why doesn’t gregory just go to the security lady/vanessa and just tell her he’s lost?” well it’s bc of the lore, jack.
Yeah, them changing Gregory's line from "she's trying to kill me" to "she's trying to get me" really takes away the impact and makes it seem weird that Gregory doesn't trust her. Especially for those who either didn't make the Vanny/Vanessa connection (or who didn't know their names at all, hence making it somewhat impossible to make the connection this early in the game.)

I love how Roxy just roasts the hell out of kids at every opportunity.
Even if Jack is having a lot of bugs in this playthrough, this is actually the most linear and non-confusing progression through the game I've seen so far. He doesn't end up going in circles and getting stuck on each part, like in other playthroughs, which make it seem like the game isn't telling you what to do. Even if he misses the dialogue instructing him, he figures it out fairly quickly. I've watched like 10 other people play this game, and until now, I had no idea where they were supposed to go after hearing the dialogue, so I felt even more lost than the person playing. I know some parts have been edited out, but still, this is the first time I feel like I've understood how you're supposed to get through the game. It does a decent job of telling you what you need to do, it could just benefit from more visual aids.

Yeah it seems like a lot of the game is stuff that would be trimmed down and fixed later in development. This sort of feels like the game was released before the “deleted scenes” could get deleted, if that makes sense. That combined with the lack of time in which to test and fix bugs and performance problems, let alone finalize the gameplay mechanics, seems to be the main problem with the game. There’s issues with the story and lore of course, but for one, it’s a fnaf game (that’s expected lol) and for two, the story and lore didn’t get enough time to develop. I wish the creators had been given more time, there are definitely moments where you can see the amount of love and work that went into the game, and it’s a shame that the full game couldn’t be like that. I really don’t understand the current state of the gaming community regarding games getting released too early. If they get delayed, people trash them for taking too long, and then when they get released too early, those same people tear them apart anyway. It’s not everyone being like this, but there’s a concerning amount.
In this case, it wasn’t just the fans wanting the game early though, there was also pressure from Playstation to release it early. I have heard that they threatened to cancel the game if it wasn’t released early, but I’ve not seen concrete evidence so take that with a grain of salt.
Tldr: give game creators time to actually finish their games. I’d choose a delayed game over a buggy release any day.

BUT - after the credits ends we get to see Vanessa on the roof, while Vanny is dead on the street. This confirms that Vanny is not Vanessa

Yea pretty much, if the bugs and glitches were gone, my impression of this game would be 5 stars instead of 4.
Honestly it feels like im playing one of those over the top old horror movies. Like those "horror" movies that are so over the top and 80s` that you cant help but have fun with the absurdity. The game has characters that I find really charming, its a beautiful game (seriously i want to explore the pizzaplex), and the feel of the game when it isnt bugging out is just charming I am charmed. Remove the game breaking glitches and some performance issues then honestly it might be one of my favorite fnaf games.

What I've gathered so far is this game is incredibly glitchy. Which, as I 've never been big on FNAF since the 1st game means I'll watch this then promptly forget it. Still fun watching Jack tho.

@@PointFear I believe they already patched some stuff, but that's before Jack ever played it and look what he's still running into. I also remember that patch changed the way Freddy is summoned because there was a glitch that he could open doors with a higher security level for you if you called him close, but with that patch they basically broke him entirely and he would just run away from you or past you when you called him. They should definitely patch it, but this game has issues in the design itself as well that can't be fixed with a simple bug fix.
