The little trills of notes near the beginning before the main motif reveals itself, along side the melodic lines that start and don’t really go anywhere specific; those are commonly used in various works to represent a sense of curiosity, wonder, and magic. That, combined with the peaceful tone that accompanies the majority of the track just perfectly represents Nahida’s character and how she views the world. Great mind, but with an innocent childlike heart. Another great detail is the instrument used that sort of clashes with the established peaceful theme, being the synthesized sounds that are very electric. Normally, this wouldn’t make sense for a character like Nahida, a god who is associated with nature, and nature is oft represented to be the polar opposite of technology. Various works of art combine the themes of technology and nature into a single idea, be it a character or setting (think of Castle in the Sky, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind) in order to intentionally transform what is normally a commonly accepted dichotomy that clashes, into a singular ideal that represents one thing. In Genshin Impact’s case, this theme is knowledge. The forests, plants, and all manner of life are all representative of knowledge, figuratively as well as literally since the memory of the world is retained via Dendro and Irminsul. But technology is also a fruit of knowledge, given that the inhabitants of Teyvat also use knowledge to create advanced devices and weaponry. While other works want to focus on the idea of human progress destroying nature, Genshin Impact is trying to say how the two sides aren’t necessarily sides that oppose each other. But everything isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. This specific rendition of the track makes the switch from peaceful and happy to dark and scary much more prominent than in the original, which definitely adds to the shock factor, whereas the original is more subdued to put emphasis towards the actual character, alone and in the fetal position, amidst a void sea.
To go forward from your knowledge v technology thing, Nahida’s animations play quite a lot into a digital sense - her normal attacks involve her playing hopscotch across keyboard keys to produce very pixel-sounding tones, her charged attack involves using a mouse cursor to outline a box and explode it and her E is a camera that can “search” the Akasha terminal for information.
