Her domain is dreams, and in Sumeru only children have dreams. This means her domain is that of innocence, wonder, the fantastical and hope for the future. She provides that to children, even if she can't have those for herself. As a deity, she's more than tried enough. Stay strong Nahida!

Nahida is like a fairy imo. Faries in fiction and fokelore often take a childlike appearance even though they're not actual children. They will often act childlike too until they are displeased, at which point you will be reminded that they are neither children nor human. I think that applies to Nahida well.

She is absolutely one of the most _fae_ playable characters in Genshin, not just in appearance, but also in behavior in some aspects.
It was one of the many attributes that I expected her to have long before she was leaked, especially since she's both the _Dendro_ archon and the God the _Wisdom._ (Yes, the latter is important.)

I know, right? There's even this one place in the middle of Vanarana where you can stand after you've collected some of the Music-Loving Aranara. They sing along with the background OST if you listen carefully. It's lovely ❤️ 💕 💕 :)

Nahida is a beautifully designed character in the sense that she is both the god of wisdom and knowledge, yet the one with the biggest heart. 🥺💚

I realized that after she appeared in the game. Before Sumeru was released and we didn't know anything about how it looked like, I thought the dendro archon was going to be arrogant because of the Teyvat chapter trailer and the whole "The god of wisdom's enemy is wisdom itself".
But god, was I mistaken...

I will miss Sumeru region. It elevated Genshin Impact in a direction that surpasses everything before it. It feels like there is substance to this game.

1. Venti - wind (carefree/easygoing)
2. Zhongli - rock (solid and majestic)
3. Ei - lightning & thunder (terrifying but awe-inspiring/spectacular)
4. Nahida - tree/nature (friendly, pretty and heartwarming/calming)

ive watched this demo over 10 times and i STILL get the chills-and i notice a new detail every time. truly a masterpiece. this is the only demo that, for me, carrie’s the emotions thru the screen. in the part where she is like traveling thru sumeru, i genuinely FELT that "uplifting, hopeful" sort of vibe that it’s supposed to have. and i got the chills at the end…

I love the way hoyo decided to take the god of wisdom. I think I lot of people were expecting a high intellectual back in the 2.0 but if we really think about it ,the greatest minds in our world were just people who dared to dream and were curious to question the world around them. Which is exactly who they designed nahida to be and I think thats kinda beautiful.
I really agree with their take on "wisdom". To most people, intelligence, learned-ness, and wisdom are nearly identical concepts. Nahida is very intelligent but not outstandingly so. But she is in my mind a perfect representation of true *wisdom* .
true wisdom can be attained through dreams and discovery after all, not just by knowing knowledge that are basically just passed down (akasha terminal)

Gods this character demo knocked it out of the park. You really get a feel for Nahida's compassion for her people(both humankind and Aranara) and her sheer delight at being able to just be free. She's an absolute sweetheart and by gods am I going to bring her home.
Not just the humans and Aranara, even the dogs, cats, and crystalflies (1:33), the plants (1:09), and the stingrays (1:05)!
I love how this demo stands out in good contrast with the 3 previous archon demos which were more centered on the archons themselves. This demo really shows the care Nahida has for her nation.
This, of course, doesn't mean that the previous archon demos were bad. It just makes you appreciate the diverse characterizations Hoyoverse has managed to pull off!

Nahida found three childrens seemingly having fun reading fantasy books 1:03 then she brought them each to their own fantasy dream! she really is the kindest

The fact that her demo ends with an allusion to the fact that, when she was released, she's still trapped in the Sanctuary of Surasthana is a really interesting and neat detail. Just goes to show the amount of detail that's hidden in the demos sometimes

After finished Archon quest III, I truly understand why Nahida is the most beloved character in Genshin Impact by the players
I just love the irony if the god of wisdom having the form of a child.
A child, by nature, is constantly learning and gaining new knowledge as they experience the world.
This really adds to Nahida's nature as a god.
Even gods in this universe have things they will eventually learn.
No amount of wisdom is an adequate substitute for experience... and conversely, no amount of experience guarantees wisdom.

Yeah, Zhongli said so himself that even though he lived for 6000 years and learned so much throughout his years as a god of Liyue and one of the Seven, he is actually fine with learning new info and seeing Liyue prosper in its own way. He is truly one of the wisest along with Nahida.

After just seeing Furina’s demo I can confidently say that no archon rn can top this gorgeous demo 🫶🏼 her demo will always be the best, and Raiden’s demo is second after hers
I get chills every time. This is the best character demo to date. Everything is so over the top, the music, the animations, the transitions in through the water and out into the darkness.. I will cherish this video forever.

I like how the HYV music team has incorporated Sumeru's BGM and Aranara's theme into Nahida's pv instead of just creating an entirely new music piece. It really adds that warm and fuzzy feeling to the pv. Props to the team!
I think they do that with the Archons. Their themes will be some sort of remix of their nation's main theme.

I like how all the Nahida promos start out like. 🌱🍃✨wow! Such childlike wonder and awe! What a kind and wise little lady!!! And end up like ………she performs her miracles and kindness to a people who don’t want her gifts and resent her presence. Her only escape is through dreams and the Akasha, baby prison for baby archon
To be fair, there are many who she has helped who care for her alot. It is just the powers that be who have actively locked her away and suppressed the acknowledgement of her. Most people in Sumeru don't resent her. They just barely thing of her. The Sages have set things up that way.

I quit Genshin around the time Baizhu released. I installed it again last friday because this trailer popped up in my recommendations again and I was reminded of all the good things that made me keep playing back then. The gacha/fomo-based nature of Genshin is still frustrating, ngl, but I fell in love with this world and the characters and seeing this demo (which was my favorite from the time I played), made me really miss them. I'm excited to start exploring Fontaine =]

i love how sweet and innocent this demo is because it’s such a sweet reflection of nahidas personality and emotion, and it ends in a small glimpse of what’s buried deep inside her heart, i hope we learn more about it in the future
Sadly, its not actually sweet, all you saw was what she imagined. At the end shows the reality, she is still imprisoned and lonely and has been since 500 years ago....Till this point of the story that hasn't changed.

Seeing Nahida having fun with the children of Sumeru was so heartwarming, but my heart combusted hearing the choir sing. This is outstanding! I'm glad Genshin is making these types of trailers again, really makes the characters special.
Man, that ending really solidifies that everything in this demo is just a dream. This is what Nahida wants to do, but she can't. She's stuck sitting/floating alone in a room, dreaming of the day she can go outside and actually physically interact with other living things and just have a fun time. I mean, it's no wonder she reached out to Dunyarzad, who was in the same situation as her because of her Eleazar.
Watching this after finishing act 2 of sumeru makes me teary, she deserves the whole world

The writers in sumeru are definitely the best since comparing the previous arcs.
