There's no doubt these ladies are super fit athletes but who the hell taught them to swing a hammer! Woeful. They have the wrong angle when striking so they are not getting the maximum punch from the hammer and the hammer needs to flow in a circular motion using the end of the handle and not half way up it. Their coaches need to talk to and watch some real wood choppers and see how it's done, their technique is shot. Having said that they are awesome though just more work needed on their swings
I love crossfit and I love the games but this event is so bizarre. If I hadn't heard of of crossfit and you showed me this I would think its a competition/workout for nuts and loons. Also Julie Foucher is beautiful
I did timed jump rope as part of strength training in college and admit it surprised me how fatigued I got quickly. A lot of this looks like a watered down strong man contest with some extra exercise based stuff like jump rope added, and the people are smaller of course and look more trim.
you cant compare crossfit to oly lifting to powerlifting. that seems to happen all the time on crossfit videos. they are different styles of workouts and all are great athletes.

test is anabolic. why assume theyre on anything tho? and do doctors even prescribe women test? what would be the medical reason for giving a woman male hormones? they look like fit women to me.. not women with male hormones in them. theyd probably look more masculine if that were the case. look how high their bodyfat is especially camille shes almost chubby... except annie they all look soft and feminine. not saying annie is on anything either i suspect shes just genetically built like that. these women are gentically the best of the best- theyre going to be a bit more muscular than the average woman.

They talk bad about it because sometimes it looks funny and doesnt necesarily give you visible muscular gains. They dont understand that people do crossfit to become a better athlete

If your school has a proper program for it they do basic weightlifting, just that will get you up to "jump rope and pull up" elite status. Get real, they're healthy people, but this doesn't look like a sport. A competition yes, but not a sport.
