How important is battery voltage with the Lonsdor?I was trying to do a spare key for an 05 mitsubishi colt and i just kept getting same error screen you got on the Lonsdor,asking if key was correct type,registered etc. I tried about 17 different options under Mitsubishi but none worked.So is the battery level important?Thanks again.
I would try a battery pack, I have had issues with lockout mode, and wrong chip in the past, maybe battery pack and leave it on for 30 min on acc, then try another chip. I have had one van that should of been 46 but it ended up being a 42 or 43, I cant recall exactly. But it must be the chip Im guessing
What tool do you use for VW id48 cript48 magmos magic 2 locked on Passat b6-3c to read the pin code it's in the body controller not dash from my research as the key is just the fob you push in to the dash.?
Dr Lock while I remember you need proportional power supply to program. BMW need 14 something volts at 70 amps supply to program without corruption . Just something to put in the back of the head,.
Yep, 100% I knew the power was low, but, gave it a go.. Once the voltage got back to 12v it was a better.. 14 is high for BMW, thanks for the tip, I guess I should always start with power, Car keys are a fun learning experience, Always learning, thanks for the tip and keep them coming
I was actually LOL & woke my missus up when I saw you trying to open the shell with the screw still in! Man you're game doing immobiliser stuff without good power, bigger balls than me buddy! I wouldn't even attempt to do anything if they're under 12v (maybe I've just bricked too many & am scarred) I had some fwit yesterday call me on an '04 Colt lost his keys. He's had 2 other 'Locksmiths' attempt it without success & walked away, dealer quoted him $750 & I was $550 & kept pestering me to go cheaper & I could do it 'at my leisure when I was over that way next' I said ok I'll do $450. After that he 'needed' it done straight away so I ended up telling him to go away!
That's a secrete but I can say they were no cheap , they are hard to use, and often unreliable. i had to buy 4 pairs to get 2 good ones and some spare parts. I try and use a gopro more better quality. I also have to edit the videos as the glasses are all over the place
Code 11 means you have the wrong transponder. Code 12 is what you wanna see. Means you have the right chip but is not programmed. If i get these in lock out i just pull the immo and eprom.
It comes up with p0513 - incorrect immobliser key. My sbb2 programmer just keeps saying unable to perform. I've tried half an hour security lock put etc thanks
Hi, yep 700 ish, and I plan to use them all over time, and when I get down to 300 I want to pull apart and try and crack it. Sorry to keep you waiting @ $66 per token for MVP, I'm in no hurry
I had an m8 and I had no luck trying to crack it. So I bought more tokens and the screen stopped working when it had about 150 tokens on it. I opened mine and the are very cheaply made on the inside. There is a ribbon that gets pulled on when you open it. I think that was why mine broke.
Yes, SBB may of worked, but had a fault code, or may of been using with the wrong chip at that stage, also voltage was low when I used SBB, So it may of worked, but not in the order I used it
