I have the same Sony Domi digital surround receiver got mine in 1998 add nobody beats the wiz $499.99 came in a remote with an LCD screen still works only issue I had back in 2009 was the the display light went out disconnect the front panel and pull the cable gently control panel which reset the whole display works 100% also I don't push the power high so strain on the caps. ( Long time since I seen it fully decked out of the original what's the sound of a headphone jack
If you're interested I do have the full sony service manual for this unit I also have a sony "concepts" guidebook that uses the DE-845 which is VERY similar to this one that goes through troubleshooting steps and tricks to bypass relays or troubleshoot to individual ICs.
If you see these, buy them. 110watts is RMS program power, the peak as listed in the service manual is 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms (165 watts into 8 ohms), that's an incredible 140 watts (55 into 8 ohms) of headroom. Yeah they're sonys so they're bright bright bright but that's the only drawback.
