My mother and her friend saw the phantom house back in the mid-60's. She said it was a 2-story white house with a porch located right next to the cemetery. It was their first time there and they thought it was the caretakers house and that he was going to come out and yell at them so they got scared and left.
An old friends father said him and a friend drank a case of beer on a porch of a house at bachelors grove when they were teenagers in the 70s. He said they sat on the porch but never went inside. He later realized that it was the Phantom house. Friend said his father said him and his friend went back to look for the house but could never find it. He also said when he told people about what happened, people back then said if you entered the house you disappear with it....
Walk past the Cemetery, cross the creek & follow the trail. I found 3 to the right of the trail not far from the creek. A couple years ago a micro blast knocked some of the trees over so you might have to do some climbing?
Why do people spread stories just for lore? Literally none of this stuff is true. I’ve driven 143rd to Harlem for work. For YEARS. Lived here my whole life. Nothing. Ever. Same with resurrection Mary. Took archer to justice for work for years. Nothin.

I saw it back in the early 90s. It was a white farmhouse with a swing on the porch and a lit lamp in the window.

Someone on RUclips has a old map of the cemetery and there is a square structure right next to the cemetery that is shaped as a house
