Also, from what I remember from her signing event, she doesn’t plan on adding any spice due to her kids and her husband is a teacher! That’s some good news because apparently people keep complaining on how she has no spice
Perfect timing on this video! Yesterday I picked up The Bodyguard at a library sale yesterday. I appreciate this deep dive into an author. Especially since it seems her content/style varies from book to book. Thanks!
How to Walk Away was so great! As a writer I so admired how she wrote it! I love her books and the messages in most of them. I agree that The Rom-Commers wasn’t her best but I liked it.
The book is definitely beautiful with those sprayed edges! I definitely was disappointed in the Rom-Commers but looking forward to her other books. I think this one was different too, I loved The Bodyguard and Hello Stranger. I’m really wanting to read Things You Save in a Fire 🔥
The bodyguard is my favorite more light hearted romance from her and Things you save in a fire is my favorite deeper story from her. I think I’m going to pass on the new one. I feel like everyone is saying that he’s a jerk and I don’t love reading that style of male main character. You described these all so perfectly!! I still haven’t read happiness for beginners so that is still on my tbr ❤❤❤
Most of these books look good. I love art so I'd like it. I can kind of understand the character because due to mental illness I can't draw or paint anymore.
I just listened to Things you save in a fire, as well as What you wish for and I loved them both!! After hearing your review on the Rom-commers, I'll probably pass on that one.
Oceana My Dear Friend I don't know if you noticed that How to Walk Away is linked to the book Things You Save in a Fire the main character from this book took part in the rescue operation after the plane crash 😀
Video idea, reading the last books that you hadn’t read of Katherine center like, The Bright Side Of Disaster, Get Lucky, and The Lost Husband, all in one vlog? My favorite is Everyone Is Beautiful>Happiness for Beginners>The Bodyguard
Aw that’s too bad. I know, I’ve been finding it hard to find and read books I like too. Sometimes it feels like random luck if I like a book now. I also hate feeling like I’m wasting time! I’m about to reread Powerless just to feel better😅😂
I’ve read most of these & agreed with all of your reviews!! Bodyguard is my favorite book right now and I wish I bought that one instead of the rom-commers. I never buy books but was so excited for a new release from her & was very letdown 😢
I feel like she’s aiming at her “TikTok” audience now. I went to her book signing event and I could you not, most of the people know her for The Bodyguard and that blew up on TikTok and was her most popular book.
Also, from what I remember from her signing event, she doesn’t plan on adding any spice due to her kids and her husband is a teacher! That’s some good news because apparently people keep complaining on how she has no spice
That sure is refreshing! 💕
That is nice to know. There are plenty of authors who write spice so I think it is a silly complaint that an author doesn't want to write it.

You’re literally one of my favorite vloggers 🥰 can’t wait to watch!
😭💛💛💛
Completely agree about What You Wish For and The Bodyguard!

I ended up putting down the Romcommers. I was having a hard time getting into it but would like to try it again later. Thank you for the video!

Also can I say I love how you turned this into a rec video too for her other books🎉❤❤❤
Great video Oceana!!
😘💛
Things You Save in a Fire is one of the few of hers I haven’t read yet!! It being your favorite makes me want to move it up on the TBR!! 👏🏼🤭
Eagerly awaiting your review of Reckless 🗡❤. I finished yesterday and need the 3rd book like NOW.

I’m only reading her new one because I got it at her signing event or I would have gotten it 2nd hand 😅

Oh I didn’t even notice!! That’s cool

How To Walk Away was my favorite.
Thank you for this video! -< As a mom of 4 my time is limited lol So any book I get HAS to be worth it, maybe that's too much pressure...

ugh that’s the worst! Cool we have the same taste in her books!
Yesss the book is better than the movie. 🧡
Things You Save In a Fire sounds good.
I loved The Bodyguard
I have read a few of her older ones but she turned to Emily Henry style . I have only read one EH out of three I have not dnf’d. Good luck..
