The Daiso Select plum kelp tea was a warming comfort when I had a cold. It's salty, very slightly sweet, & umami. The plum was an umeboshi. 8 servings per pack, great deal! Bought at San Francisco Japantown Daiso.
Yum! I want to try a lot from this installment! The butter candy, the ginger drink, the lemon ramen, the okonomiyaki snack, the bacon & pepper snack and maybe even the wasabi cashews. Yum!

It's still yummy. I wish the U.S. Daiso stores had more of the snacks from Japan. I bought other snacks there, too, but they didn't have all the snacks you showed!

Here in the U.K. we used to have a shop that sold nuts & snacks, & they used to do fried rice crackers in Wasabi flavour, they were delicious! The company has closed down now & I've never been able to find them online, which is disappointing!

In the US most everything labeled as containing wasabi actually contains horseradish instead. Mainly because wasabi is hard to grow and that makes it too expensive for use in snacks.

Ohh I love Miyako Kombu, as I got one package (it was a small cotton box, the size of two finger) it was already gone XD I did had other dried seaweed snacks too, some without sugar, some really tough to chew, but this is the mildest from all I've eaten, sour and sweet, really easy to chew and more like melting soo addictive and perfect to start if someone is not familiar with. Unfortunetly I can't eat much of them because as a european I'm not used to consume that amount of Jod, mehh, but I eat it anyway haha ^^' now I have a craving for noo ;D thanks for sharing ^^/
What is used as artificial ginger flavour? Is it a chemical flavouring? Or is there another natural product that's used as a less-expensive 'natural' ginger flavour (like how fenugreek is a 'natural' flavour used to imitate maple)?
Why does the packaging on the daiso products have English on the cover ? Would a lot of people in Japan read the English ? Or is it for non Japanese people's ?
