I'm not sure what is an MBA job means. Degrees and accolades don't have too much value here in the US, perhaps it may give you your first break. After that, it's all based on your experience.
We came to the country in 2008 on H1. No green card in sight even after 13 years. Also spouse EAD for H1 (H4 EAD) is only after getting I140 approval stage.
It was nice to hear about your life. Call to india charge was 57 cents when I came here first. We witnessed a big revolution - from spending half a dollar to almost no charge unlimited calls to India - what an amazing transformation we witnessed. When you were talking about it, it was a nice reminder. The journey to establish in US is a hard one, one has to go through that to know the hardship. From learning to drive to finding a job, it will take ten years in my opinion to establish in this country.
Good to know about you both. Eagerly waiting for part 2. How you get time for all this - DIYs, taking care of the plants and the household chores - was something we always wondered.
Nice video. Same immigrant story here. When you find time please do a vlog on US college studies. It would be helpful to plan studies for the children of new immigrants.

Property prices vary vastly according to where you are. Even big cities in different parts of the US there is a huge price difference. Tax is pretty close to UK. Ours is 35%. In UK it is 40% right?
