PingTag is a QR tag that you attach to your valuable items and that people can scan to reach you without revealing your contact information to them.
Unlike a traditional QR code that displays your phone number to anyone who scans it, PingTag hides your phone number and instead opens a unique page for the item that it is attached to, where people can type messages to send you, and you receive those messages via SMS and email, and you reply to them, without ever sharing your phone number or email address with anyone.
You attach it to your phone, tablet, laptop, headphones, camera, backup drive, kindle, wallet, passport, ID, credit cards, and even your water bottle!

I like the product, it makes great sense as far as having a QR code attached to a proprietary platform. I think I would like the actual video better if it were shot with items that appear brand new, because I won't lie, the ones featured have smudges and scratches on them. What I would prefer seeing is a video that resembles the HSN style with a host and a guest presenter that is explaining the product and the website. People will instantly see how it works, how simple it is, how the stickers can easily be applied to any item/possession, and then just as easily understand the savings immediately without having to compare it to how many burgers or bitcoin it compares to. Just some production/marketing feedback :)

Fair point, Quentin. Hopefully we will hire a marketing agency and do a professional video with new items. For now, these are actually my own items with my own stickers on them. It was a conscious decision to make that video more personal than professional, and the next one will be a lot more similar to what you’re describing. Thanks for the awesome feedback :)

I really like the idea of PingTag, but the poor quality video (inconsistent exposure and focus, and the voice over and general feel) puts me off signing up for a Premium account as I wonder about the longevity of the company. You will need many people to sign up to ensure success, and I don't think that this video will help with that. You may want to consider setting up a PingTag RUclips page rather than hosting videos on your personal page, as it currently appears to look like a hobby rather than a professional business. Good luck with it, I hope it is a success
