Great video and production. Learned a lot and have been wanting to explore the Zev OZ9 or what Billy Barton is shooting.
Tough gun to sell on paper and one you have to shoot. If I come up your way soon, I’ll bring one for you to try out.

Yeah I agree big time in this take away, eventhough I've not placed my hands on the DCP yet and the hypercomp Zev specifically I have shot a OZ9 and a glock side by side and the full rail on the OZ changes the recoil impulse and feels much better. The overall performance per dollar the OZ9 hypercomp seems legit. But at the end of the day, nothing beats a flex.

Good video and full of tons knowledge. Would love to see the DCR9 vs a Atlas Athena, two true comp guns but after this review, Im pretty sure the Athena would smoke it easily.

Really think G45 is the best All around Glock
But the Zev is everything you want a Glock to be
I went with Shadow System MR920 Elite at 1k think it’s right in the middle of the Glock and Zev
What are your thoughts on Shadow System
Will the Zev hyper comp slide fit a Glock 45 frame ?
It does not… as the Zev is based on a Glock Gen3 platform where as the G45 is on the Gen5. I even went back for a bit and tried tinkering with it and it’s a no go. I do believe though that Zev has “v2” out which is based on the Gen 5…
What weight ammo do you run through the ported gun?
Or compensated guns in general.
Ran all the guns on 115 & 147. Both ported and comped guns loved and responded well to having the extra gas that the 115s (Both SuperVel “Select 115” and Blazer Aluminum 115) where as it was nice having the 147s (SuperVel 147 Comp) through the G45
There is NO comparison other than size when it comes to a stock glock vs the ZEV hyper comp. That ZEV shoots damn flat and feels much better in hand. I do feel the ZEV is still overpriced IMHO
Really should be a glock 45 with radian afterburner compared to the zev.
But still a decent watch
