The layout has come on such a long way since the track issue with the opening. Looks amazing!

Suggestion for the scrubland area at the end of the station.... A Nissen hut (scout hut, snooker hall or model railway clubhouse?) would fit nicely in there.

I am glad that you like these as I have *boxes* of them at home waiting to be installed on my under construction 00 layout...

Many thanks for your video. I am not a user (yet) of these point motors but your ease of installation has confirmed the way forward for me. I will purchase a couple and see how I get on before completely committing for the rest of my layout. Thanks once again.

I just realised your intro stinger is the “wasted!” sound effect from GTA!

Great video, the lifetime warranty provided by DCC concepts and Accurascale is a game changer which hopefully others will follow. For people coning into the hobby it provides a great sense of security considering as you say the considerable investment in buying pieces of kit like this which arent cheap.
As a side note, ive now left N gauge behind before its begun lol, full steam ahead with OO now, I just need to find more room for a bigger layout! 😳🙄🤣👍

A cobalt point switch, it's plug and play, if you got a problem with those, you better can switch your points by hand, because it can't get easier.
Electronics can fail as everything else, those point motors aren't the cheapest, but a life time warranty makes it worth to go the extra mile.
Personally I worked with Arduino's, defiantly not plug and play, but I like the engineering challenge, but that's the fun you self seek.
100% agree with you that if a brand gives you a lifetime warranty, and they stick to what they say, not making a excuse up to run away from there warranty guarantees, as unfortunately you also got those running around, and they keep you as a happy customer, I think that's the best advertisement a producer can give, and I'm convinced that 99,99% will stick to that brand.
And to me it also shows that they are them self convinced that there product is trust wordy.
Nice planning dreams on your layout, and I see the enjoyment you have, even when you have these small setbacks, but hey, life is all about ups and downs😉

Maybe a silly question but did you give a hard tap on the side as mine occasionally jam, generally from lack of use? all the best

Love DCC concepts point motors .Totally agree with lifetime guarantees .The cost of top of the range models should all be covered .Sadly they are way out of my price range

Point motors hmmmm. I started to try to install some peco points but messed it right up so hand of god all the way. Will have a look at those Cobalt digital IP ones may solve my problem as they do seems to do the job.

This is the only one out of two dozen to have failed, and even then, I'm fairly confident it was me that had something to do with it lol

great video as always. But you could live in a much more pleasant world if you didn't use any motors on your points. On a small layout you can reach all the points. And save both money and your heart. Keep it simple ! anyway you solved the problem, good work .
