Even in though She was a bit rough around the edges in the beginning of Tokyo Ghoul, Her willingness to protect the ones She cares about is shown through. Throwing Herself into danger if that means protecting the ones She cares about. She's also very selfless, even eating Human food that makes Her sick just to please Her Human friend, Yoriko. And let's not forget about Her attempts to keep Her child alive. But yeah, those are some of the things that I like about Her.

I watched the anime first and now I’m reading the manga. Let me tell you: The manga is so much better. The story makes much more sense in the manga and there are so many details I didn’t know about. Spoiler: did you know Rize is still kind of alive in VA? If you only watched the anime, you probably didn’t.

I was in japan in July and left on the 26th but there were a lot of Tokyo ghoul merch at shonen jump. I bought the Tokyo ghoul premium cards and they are cool. I go to shonen jump every year. Only my older brother and I love anime. I'm so lucky to be able to go to japan every year (We have to go to see family relatives in japan).
Sui Ishida is not a tattoo artist. That was only rumor that no one knows where it originally came from. But either way Ishida has debunked it in one of his tweets. Only thing Ishida got to do with any tattoo-related-stuff is that he said that he gave his own hobbies to Uta La Puta. Lastly, Marie Antoinette syndrome is also inaccurate fact as there is actual canon explanation for Kaneki's DBZ hair color changes that actually would even fit DBZ narrative as well :P.

For example the arc when Kaneki is being tortured by Jason, its a lot more disturbing in the manga than in the anime. I know you don't read manga, but I highly recommend doing so for Tokyo Ghoul. You just might actually like it. 😊

My #1 favorite character is Ken Kaneki for obvious reasons. You can’t help but watching the Anime and not feeling sympathetic towards him. He just wanted to live a normal life of a college boy. Then it all got screwed up when he fell for the wrong girl. Kaneki DEFINITELY did deserve the horrifically cruel torture from Jason either. The only positive thing it did to Kaneki was make him MUCH tougher ghoul.
