Found one of these in my friends garage as a teenager, covered in paint, busted heads on both sides from his dads old band days. Offered him the weed in my pocket and he took the deal. Been playing it for 8 years now and it’s still my favourite snare drum.

I got one of these back in the early 2000s and I've never played anything since. This snare has been almost-recreated many times by many different companies but nothing has ever matched the tone and warmth. It's a rare gem. I've had countless other musicians tell me over the years that it's the best sounding snare they've ever heard. I'll never get rid of it.
    Great video!

By far the best sounding snare I've ever recorded in my studio. I do tune it pretty low though and it just works for the tracking room/heavy music style.

I played for 10 years with this awesome snaredrum..... from a Foo Fighters cover band to a gospel choirs backing band. The snare has a great dynamic range..... I loved it. Wow. I stopped drumming some years back. But if I ever start again, this will be my no. 1 snare to go to!!!

@@philgaudion5452 I had one of the Pearl models and LOVED it. Unfortunately I had to sell a lot of my gear off to deal with a financial issue, and yours sounds exactly like what I remember. it's glorious.
