Locating, always ask your current clients if they have other businesses that need machines. Then ask if they have friends. You can build quickly this way.
One thing I suggest, is asking them what their favorite sodas/snacks are when you do your pitch. Have honor boxes in your car with dozens of different drinks/snacks. Fill it with their favorites, go back, leave the snacks and drinks for them as a sample along with your business card. Especially if they have a current vendor. Most vendors don’t listen to customer requests. It will make an impact

My Dad runs a vending machine business. We have about 400 machines (chip machines and sandwich machines). Nursing homes and car dealerships are great, too, as well as blue collar businesses where the employees work on site and there are at the very least 30 employees. Edit: make sure the machines are placed where a lot of foot traffic goes by-breakrooms, waiting rooms, etc.
Hello, thank you for your advices. I’m wanna start my vending machine business but I don’t understand how to share the profit with the location or it’s better pay then a rent for keep the vending machine in the location operative. What I should offer to the location ?
You have to figure out what other companies are offering in your state to get into businesses. Some locations want better options, machines, products that they don’t want commission. Commission is split for the higher grossing accounts

Great tips! Thank you for the quality video! I was wondering though, you talk a lot about physically going to the stores, but I feel like you will run a lot into employees that have no say in the placement of a vending machine in the store. Would it not also be a good idea to contact the company through e-mail or phone calls so you can directly talk to a manager? It seems more efficient to me personally! Would love to hear your thoughts or from anyone else on this matter! Thanks! Edit: Subbed! (Of course!)

Offer comm only in bulk vending. The margins are 5-1. In full line vending (or full size machines) offer service and value over comm. Margins are a lot less than bulk 2-1 or 3-1. Work hard!
Don't discuss commissions unless the business owner brings it up. If they do, stay at 10% and under. Approach your potential location as if you are providing them a FREE service; as if they need the benefit of your service & products more so than you need their location. Focus on how satisfied and convenienced their customers and employees will be with a vending machine on premises.
