I always start by saying: Hi! Are you the owner? And most people laugh and say no, but the mood is set and the ice is broken. Most of the time the give me a little bit extra of help if you do ask this simple question. Just a tip. And I also would not recommend telling about commissions unless the start talking about power consumption and so on.

Would you recommend a young person starting a vending business to get business cards? I’m worried that it would come across as corny if I, a 17 year old gave a business card.
Absolutely get cards. Being a professional never hurt anyone’s sales. Also, in the sales game you never know who’s hands that card will fall into. If they have your direct line it could be your biggest deal. If you pitch an office manager while the owners out and write your number on something like a sticky note, highly less likely than getting a ring back from a business card. You can get 500 cards for like $10. Good luck brotha

Real life translation hey let me use the store you pay rent for as a location, let me use your electricity to power up my machine and use the clients you wheeled in to sell my products and I'll give you 10% to use all of that to make money oh and we give 10% to the national cancer society for tax right off purposes. WORDING CHANGES EVERYTHING!
Lets say the owner wants you to replace their vendor. How does that interaction typically go down? Does the owner contact the previous vendor? How long till you can actually place your machines?
My question is the contract part so you don’t really need one to have a vending machine in a business even if it’s corporate? An also thank you for your pitch ideas I appreciate very much
Also I look over your links not all yet. You offer a service something like a mentor right? Is your consultant service the same thing as a mentoring program?
I wouldn't offer commission off the bat. Let them ask for it. If it'd extremely high traffic then definitely offer it. But keep hustling. This is what it takes bro.
I have 10 locations, and I've given ten times that number of pitches. 99% of the "yes"s you will get will be on the spot by the owner, no one will ever go out of their way to call you back to give you an answer, let alone a yes. Getting good locations is ridiculously hard, corporate locations even harder. Even if you do get a good one, there is a good chance it will do sub $10 a month, in which case the machine will take 5 years to pay for itself.
So when you say 10% are you just giving them just something off the wall or do you actually keep track and pay what’s due. Also when paying the 10% is that every week month or each time you re stock the machine
Dominick Barbato really? But I don’t think a business owner will just give you the opportunity to put a combo machine without getting some percentage in exchange. 🤔🤔 Bc they could argue that the machine is going to use electricity or something. Am I wrong?
Dominick Barbato so very time that you want to place a snack machine you never offer a commission ?? Or what do you offer them to convince them? This the last question man I promise 😂😂.
Just a question, but how many machines and what kind would it take to make any serious money? I would thing gum vending would be a waste of time and soda machine vending would be a better choice.
@@DominickBarbato thank you for the fast response and great info. Maybe you should offer a step by step online mini course for a reasonable fee. Thanks again. Oh one more question what about affiliate marketing? Making money on the side marketing the type of vending machines you already use? Would that be wise? I would think so if you would have a good way to market it like RUclips, of course, you would need to know how to market first

Also I look over your links not all yet. You offer a service something like a mentor right? Is your consultant service the same thing as a mentoring program?
I love your video. I heard you mentioned the 20% commission then you spilt it to 10% / 10% . Please explain how exactly that work.
I wouldn't offer commission off the bat. Let them ask for it. If it'd extremely high traffic then definitely offer it. But keep hustling. This is what it takes bro.
Never should thank you
good luck on your business bro :)
It’s becoming more and more challenging to get good accounts but with persistence it gets easier
So when you say 10% are you just giving them just something off the wall or do you actually keep track and pay what’s due. Also when paying the 10% is that every week month or each time you re stock the machine
And do you give them and exact 10% or just something off the wall but close
Thanks for the awesome videos and for taking the time to reply and spread the tips and advice 👍
Off your first vid I could tell I liked you but after the sec n third, I had to subscribe
Good to hear
Very cool :) I like your style
Never Offer Up Front That You Offer A Commission. Only Offer A Commission If It's A Great Location And They Ask You To.
What percentage would you offer for a combo machine? Great video 👌
Dominick Barbato thanks for the advice man. Keep up the great videos 👌
Can you show us your brochure?
Just a question, but how many machines and what kind would it take to make any serious money? I would thing gum vending would be a waste of time and soda machine vending would be a better choice.
@@DominickBarbato thank you for the fast response and great info. Maybe you should offer a step by step online mini course for a reasonable fee. Thanks again. Oh one more question what about affiliate marketing? Making money on the side marketing the type of vending machines you already use? Would that be wise? I would think so if you would have a good way to market it like RUclips, of course, you would need to know how to market first
Great Content!
Be nice to see one of your successful placing
299 🔥 Great work Dominick looking to start my own too 👍

This is great, thank you! I'm just getting started. How much do you offer for sign on bonuses?
@@DominickBarbato nice thank you!
I hear people saying to never do commissions, but I don’t know any business that will just let you put it there for free
Yeah, it’s what works fornyou
How do you insure the machine ?
An insurance broker
Would save a lot of time if this guy went in and asked for the owner first lol
Well other states may have other vendors but I live in Montana and nobody lives here
Lol that’s good news for you
