- The Engineering services exam is one of the most reputed and most aimed exam by engineers. Along with being reputed, it is one of the toughest exams to crack and it needs a proper strategy and guidance to get through the various stages.
The Engineering Services Exam (ESE) consists total of 3 stages - Prelims exam, Main exam, and Interview, and to sail through in all consecutive stages requires particular strategy and exam-oriented planning.
Once an aspirant has cleared ESE Prelims and then mains, then the final stage is interview also referred to as Personality test. In the personality test, a panel of highly qualified members, who have a vast experience in this domain, will judge all the traits and competencies of the aspirant. The questions may revolve around the technical or the non-technical aspects and the other information that you have filled in DAF (Detailed Application Form).

There is too much & unnecessary discrimination between the Diploma & BTech, though 80% of BTech is being taught in diploma colleges these days.
Yeah me too ... but they will play psychological game to convey interview .
They judge you , when they put you in uncomfortable situations.
Knowing the answers and expressing them infront of panel are different things.
Initially they asked him some non tech questions which makes him uncomfortable (which may he was not prepared of ) after that he became little nervous. Although he seems too weak in communication.
