Totally get you with the comment about their grooves. I was NEVER a fan of heavy "screamo" type music, but Jinjer just hits different. One of my favourite songs from them is Sit Stay Rollover, which is one of their heaviest ones. I would NEVER have listened to that 5 years ago. Just something about the way they do it though...the groovy, funky elements, plus the cleans breaking up the harsh vocals just makes them something else. Hoping that they are touring somewhere near here sometime soon as I'd LOVE to catch them live. Suspect I may need to road trip to Toronto, NY or Boston to see them, but that's doable.
I love this new song by Jinjer, always love Jinjer! I love the portrayals of Cleopatra, Jeanne D'Arc, Marie Curie and (I think) Georgia O'Keeffe, although since we know Tatiana loves Frida Kahlo (as do I) because of that tattoo on her arm, I will always think of that character in this video as Georgia O'Keeffe on the outside and Frida Kahlo on the inside. Great reaction and comments on the meaning! Thank you, as always Tauri, for bringing more of the fantastic music of Jinjer to more people! ❤️ 🖤 🤘
Killer track and a really cool video. They somehow keep finding a way to level up even more while keeping their unique style. Tati blows me away with her lyricism, especially considering she leaves most of it until the last minute and writes in a secondary language. It's obviously a very personal subject for her, but she found a way to pull the perspective back a bit and make it relatable to everyone too. I also love the double meaning of the "I'm no longer a daughter line". While she has had to give up part of herself to succeed, she is no longer just someone's daughter. She has her own identity and accomplishments.
The first time I heard this, I thought it was good. In the multiple listens since, it just gets better. Like you, I love Tati’s clean vocals and they’re amazing here. Not to mention the musicianship. Amazing as always. I’m actually going to the Charlotte show AS WELL AS Myrtle Beach on 10/4(My 3rd and 4th time seeing them live). This song makes me more excited. I’m gonna predict that this will be either #3 or #4 maybe #5 on the set lists. Their 1st two songs are usually to get the crowd going(“Sit, Stay, Roll Over”, “Teacher, Teacher”, “Perennial”). The next three spots are ideal for new songs.
Love Jinjer. I’ve seen them twice. When Disturbed cancelled Phoenix show cause of heat Jinjer made it up coming from Milwaukee to Tempe in just 2 days. I seen an interview with her saying we will make it up to our fans in Az..Really cool
Oops! Intriguing presentation! As I don't know the band, I looked for information from the preview comments and RUclips comments! And one comment caught my attention, because it shows who the characters are that Tetiana is playing: Cleopatra, Marie Curie, Frida Kahlo and Joanna of Arc! So to understand Tauri's contextualization I went to look for the lyrics, to understand the context with the setting, since the translator doesn't capture the growls! And what powerful lyrics! I understood the lyrical and scenic context, and there certainly needs to be an art director to bring “some daughters” to the narrative, along with the story of each one and their costumes, richly known in history! Man! Putting together the lyrics, scenery, melody, vocals, instruments, it was beautiful! And what was that percussion rhythm with the guitar at minute 6:23? Damn! Is it striking how similar it is to the drums of samba schools? This is the Start rhythm to warm up the battery! Sensational! Man! What a show of images! What a show of reaction Tauri! He knows! Interpreting your reaction makes me look for lyrics, situations in the story, pay attention to which instrument is most audible, distinguish the vocal from clean sounds and growls, see the entire context! And it helps me with my cognitive capacity! Not everything I observe I put here! But it's been a trip to be part of it! And I thank you so much for putting yourself in a discipline of releasing videos every day! I already told you and I'll say it again, that I admire you, and I love the display of your emotions! I could look for another reaction channel, but you are irreplaceable! The only obstacle is the language! English is not my official language! So I need a translator! And unfortunately, the translator doesn't always put what I'm writing! Distorting the meaning of what I wanted to express! But, I don't give up! I hope everything is fine! Kiss in your heart!💙🌷🫶
Thank you very much for your reaction. I have the same feelings. When Tatyana's melodic voice is supported by heavier music. There is something new from Jinjer in this.
The painter is a reference to Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter from the early to mid 1900s. Also Tatianna: "I am no longer someone's daughter, I throw the first punch!" Vlad, Roman, Eugene: "Did you though?"
Awesome song. Is that the 'We want our home back' T-Shirt you are wearing? Im in UK and it was so difficult and expensive for me to get an official T-Shirt (M). Jinjer with Sepultura in November 🤘🤘🤘
this is a piece of art!
thanx for your emotional reaction on a world class band!!!!!!!!
lovely greetings from the german musician............
Going to see them in 2 days... and then next week-end... and then in October 😄
Can't wait 🥳
Have SO much fun!!

Definitely worth a trip, for sure.
I did VIP in 2022 and it was a normal VIP meet. Eugene has said VIP will be done on this tour but no word yet on getting the tickets.
Brilliant song from a brilliant band. I have my tickets to see them in October, can't wait.
Deciding if we want to go see them in autumn too.
@@TauriReactsI've got my tickets for Charlotte. I'm so stoked to take my daughter to see Someone's Daughter! It'll be her first live Jinjer!
@ericpeterson7512 that's the show we'd be attending if I get tickets!
@@TauriReacts you should definitely do it if you can. Jinjer is the best band live. They are on another level.

I do adore Tati and her talent for lyrics
Their new VIP experience is magnificent

The boys crushed it on this track. Those riffs are devastating. ☠

The painter is a reference to Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter from the early to mid 1900s.
Also Tatianna: "I am no longer someone's daughter, I throw the first punch!"
Vlad, Roman, Eugene: "Did you though?"
Marie Curie, Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, and the painter is Frida Kahlo!
Thank you!! I knew who the Victorian woman was, just couldn't place her name.
I think the painter is actually Georgia O'Keeffe
Lions At The Gate - "Find My Way" featuring Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer

Yes.....

❤ ☀️🔥🔥🔥
When I saw them in San Antonio during Covid, you had to show a vaccine card to get in!
According to the dress, the painter rather is Georgia O'Keeffe
