This is really well made, but the country segment really freaked me out as a kid. The facial expressions made me think they witnessed some really messed up event and are trying to do the "smile and wave."

When I was a kid, I hated how the country segment lasted a whole 20 seconds. Waaaay too long. I always wished the other segments lasted longer.

Man, what a throwback!
So, fun facts about this animation. The Guy who came up with the concept for this, Craig Sven Gordon was also a writer for that Johnny Brabo talk show JBVO where all those episodes were found recently due to a guys mom having worked on the show and having master tapes of the episodes in storage, even the infamous one where he fast forwards through the Dragon Ball Z episode and commentates over it, was considered Lost Media for a time till this year.
The film's director, Jonas Odell, is a Swedish film maker known for having a unique animation style that he uses in his live action films and animated shorts. Some that even look like the Country segment in such shorts like Släkt & vänner or a short on his RUclips page called Family & Friends. Here, I'll link his page www.youtube.com/@JonasOdellFilms He has some unusually unique stuff. Oh, and Jonas was directed the other Cartoon Network Groovies of Jabberjaw and also the Atom Ant one, which not only uses a similar animation style to the one I mentioned above, but also won Jonas a PromaxBDA award for Best Mixed Media Animation.
and lastly, the guy who did the music for this, Michael Kohler, also composed the theme for Cartoon Cartoon Fridays as well as composed or did sound design work for shows like Harvey Birdman, Archer, and Aqua Team Hunger Force. Oh, and he also composed the Atom Ant short too.
Popped in my head while picking up pizza🥺🥺🥺. I miss this Cartoon Network. This song and the PowerPuff Girls song by that live band. T.O.M who hosted Toonami, especially in its early days. Does anyone remember Reboot? The weird, blocky characters lol. Never did find out the show's plot.
