This song hits deep for me. I first had a seizure at age 9. The doctor said I would grow out of my epilepsy. My cousin had seizures he grew out of, but by the time I was 27 I was still having seizures. I was lucky enough to get a doctor smart enough to recommend me for a Vagus Nerve Stimulator, so what were once absence seizures have essentially become my body's emergency alert warning that I might have a grand mal seizure. High school has been the highlight of my life.
