      @Slim451 For real, I feel really bad for Carolina Panthers fans. Carolina is one of the most loyal fanbases in the NFL, and the fact that thus is what they are getting is pretty sad and pathetic. First of all, all owners meddle. That's why they buy the team.

      It took Snyder 25 years. But at least Snyder fielded a few decent teams. Tepper tantrum meddles way more. That's why he was able to accomplish it so fast. He even meddles with the play calling. I've been a Panthers fan for over 20 years. I watched this team go from a surprise Super Bowl run with Delhomme and Steve Smith to being good one year then bad the next, to seeing John Fox overstay his welcome, to a revival under Riverboat Ron and Cam Newton, to the end of both their times here. This is the season where I tap out. David Tepper has sapped all enjoyment out of me since he took over and I'm not supporting the team he runs at this point unless he learns to stop meddling all the time. He won't, though, so I'm done until they get a new owner in Charlotte. I'm having more fun with the other pro sports teams in NC anyway.

      I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE CAROLINA PANTHERS RIGHT NOW! I might not be in the majority when I say that I still think that Bryce Young is our franchise QB, but I agree with everything else that everyone has said about this team. David Tepper needs to go. I hate that this man is the owner of this team. The "Dream Team" coaching staff that was hyped for this team has done nothing but disappoint week after week after week. Scott Fitterer needs to be fired as GM of the Carolina Panthers since his roster decisions (besides Bryce which once again I might not be in the majority in) have almost all been unmitigated disasters. I love Brian Burns, but they should have traded him instead of DJ Moore if they weren't committed to resigning the former. Our OL could be moved by a gust a wind since they cannot protect Bryce and made him take the second-most sacks out of any rookie QB in NFL history. It's just a sad, sad time to be a Carolina Panthers and I don't see it getting better next season or the season after that. With that said, I'm always going to be a Carolina Panthers fan. I have to support my team during the good times and bad. That, in my opinion, is what being a true fan is all about. Keep up with the criticisms, y'all. They need to see this and we don't need to be "yes men" to that POS owner David Tepper.

    • @Jrodsly
      @Jrodsly 4 месяца назад +5

      @@christiancastillo1245 I still think Bryce can be a great QB with talent around him. Problem is, he has virtually nothing around him. His best weapon is an aging former Vikings receiver. Everything else around him is garbage. It won't get better until Tepper is no longer owner.

    Mac Jones has been poor this year but I will die on the hill the Patriots failed him. Tua became a playoff quarterback after getting Tyreek Hill, Mahomes was a potential GOAT candidate with Hill and Kelce, Hurts became a playoff QB after getting AJ Brown and Devonta Smith, Josh Allen became a Pro Bowler with Stefon Diggs, etc. But in two of Jones's most pivotal years, they gave him a defensive coach as an offensive coordinator and brought in Mike Gesicki and JuJu Smith Schuster as weapons. I hope he gets another shot somewhere else because he won't succeed in New England with such a bad setup.

      It also doesn't help that Bill got rid of Meyers and extended Parker (who has been just as bad if not worse than Juju), as well as the fact that their best playmaker on offense (Bourne) tore his ACL in October, which seems to have really destroyed team moral.

      I disagree. Look at the games. Every single game (in 2023) he threw an interception in, the team lost. Every time he didn't throw one, the team won. What does that say, it's not BB who is throwing the interceptions. It's not gesicki, it's not Juju...
      Mac Jones is not clutch, not likable, not fun, not athletic, not a leader - what quality does he have that he's shown to be at an above average level since the Colts game of his rookie season?

    Edit: I remember Tony Romo having bad lines for almost his entire career. By the time Dallas gave him a good line, he was about to retire. Towards the end he was actually doing well for himself. Heh. Giving your QB protection and he plays better? *Imagine that.*

    The big eye-catcher for me regarding the Giants this year has been their offensive line. They have become only the 2nd team in NFL history to allow over 80 sacks in a single season with 83 after 16 games (or around 5.2 sacks per game). Only the 1986 Philadelphia Eagles had a worse offensive line with 104 sacks allowed in 16 games (6.5 sacks per game). With the exception of their game against Green Bay, the Giants have allowed a sack at least once every single game.

      And that's the real problem. It's almost impossible to evaluate a quarterback who is running for his life on half the plays and no one gets open the other half so he has to throw into a microscopic window. As a Saints fan, I believed in the DA and Pete Carmichael hype in the offseason. I thought “Hey, they have a new offseason to understand the players and develop new concepts, along with the easiest schedule in the NFL we could make a run.” Holy crap was I wrong about them fixing anything. Same crap happened last year and the team most likely will keep them because “Dennis is improving.” If he makes the playoffs or has a winning record they’ll use that as an excuse to keep him. Smh Sean and Drew aren’t coming back, the players know they aren’t good coaches, we could improve so much with better coaching, yet this front office thinks we are fine. So frustrating, DA is literally one of the worst coaches, in NFL history! Yet instead of improving we will go back to him? I just don’t understand why they think we are in a good place. With Mike McD, Doug Pete, or a competent coach this team is ten wins plus.

      The explanation is really straightforward: other teams obtained and studied tape on him and he no longer had a stretch of injured or bad opposing teams to pad the W-L record in the early season. They knew he had a hard time throwing deep toward the sidelines and that the Patriots were incapable of getting a speedster to break man coverage and catch passes on the outside, so they sat in Cover 1 all day to blanket the middle of the field where Mac feasted, and rack up the interceptions.

    My Cincinnati Bengals are definitely the biggest disappointment in 2023 in my opinion. As a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan who was born in 2004, it's been nothing but pain and suffering and I don't think I'll ever see my Cincinnati Bengals ever win a Super Bowl. Even when we made the playoffs a couple of years, especially for 2011-2016, we didn't win a single playoff game at all. Now that we have Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and the other giys, we won a couple of playoff games, made 2 AFC Championship appearances, made it to a Super Bowl but unfortunately we lost. Now coming into this year, I thought this was the year that my Cincinnati Bengals would finally get over the hump but Joe Burrow went down, out for the season, Chase missed a couple of games, Higgins missed a couple of games, the offensive line is still terrible and the defense is terrible. It's like everytime I believe my Cincinnati Bengals to do finally do something, bad luck always happens to my Bengals. Dude can we talk about my eagles? I mean I literally can’t remember the last time we’ve had a bottom ranked defense. Plus the collapse from 10-1 to barely scraping by now. It might be the biggest collapse of a playoff caliber team not including hurts regression and the coaching level of a high school offense. If it weren’t for some of the talented players we have, we’d be a 7 win team rn

    As a Pats fan, I'm just hoping Mac gets a fresh start somewhere else and finally plays to his potential. He IS NOT the only reason the Pats are so bad, the O-line is inconsistent, the WRs can barely get open and can hardly catch, the special teams unit is atrocious, and even the defense, which is easilly the strongest unit, is VERY overrated, as they aren't forcing takeaways and are constantly allowing opponents drives to continue by allowing big plays and 3rd and 4th downs. It also doesn't help that Belichick sucks at offensive roster-building.

They’re a top 5 unit but they don’t have the luxury of having an offense that can score ANY points. The defense played bad in a combine 4 games maybe, one of them being the Browns and honestly I barely count that one because there was a pick six and a fumble on the kickoff that only resulted in 3 points. They’ve made guys like Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Mahomes, CJ Stroud, Herbert, and Russ look like bums. Now I will say in the end of the Browns game and Commanders game they were looking washed up. The reason they won against the Commanders was because the Commanders are a god awful franchise

It must also be demoralising to know no matter how hard you play, the offense can't score points. They have had that all year.

If I were the Jets I would keep Wilson for the next year (while not picking up his 5th-year option unless he REALLY shows out in a few games) and try to shield him under Rodgers for at least another year. maybe they just don’t feel like they have the time to develop a guy like that but i think it’s working in GB with Jordan Love
