This is how a streaming concert is done! Epica‘s and within temptation‘s virtual concerts during the pandemic are head and shoulders above any others I’ve ever heard including Nightwish sadly. The sun is truly under Epica now like never before I sure wish I could go to their Symphonic Synergy concert next year at AFAS in the Netherlands or in Mexico no doubt they’re going to be monstrously good! Lauren, you are amazing lady… wow you have a strong propensity to discern top-tier talent and because of that I know you love Epica so much as well. More anytime!! 🤘🤘

Hi Lauren, finally!!!! I’m waiting every day for you to react to my favorite band Epica, and it’s been a while since the last one. I keep rewatching your previous Epica reactions because I really enjoy it so much. It almost feels like opening up a present seeing you react to them. Please don’t make me wait too long for the next one. 🫶🤘
The fact that it was all performed live here, and all filmed in one shot, is also very impressive. This was not a music video, even though it might have looked like one!
But what if I told you that when they recorded this live performance, this single shot actually continued into the next song as well? The next song was "Once Upon a Nightmare", and if you play the end of "Rivers" followed by that song, you'll notice everything is the same -- the position of everyone in relation to the camera, Simone's posture, the slight remnant of reverb in the room -- so they had this studio set up for both these songs at once, probably with all camera movements planned out ahead of time. choir singer here. this choir most likely was pre-recorded in an actual music studio/concert hall/church. You need the natural room, and special mic placements, all which are absent here.
Remember when i saw this "live". This preformence together with Once upon a nightmare was such a nice surprise 😁.
I prefer the Afas live version with Apocalyptica but yes… Simone 😍😍😍
Just stunning. I think you already did a reaction to Once Upon a Nightmare from the same show. They did Rivers then Once Upon a Nightmare as one single take for this show so worth listening to them back to back.

hey Lauren, Nice that you wanted to do this song, for me this is the most beautiful version of rivers, those things hanging around the neck of the choir are their microphone, it looks quite nice, I completely forgot to respond to your last video from Epica I am very busy, this is also a fun video to do, this is a mini acoustic concert where they sing with a jazzy sound, something you are not used to from them, but it sounds very nice! To everyone below here we go.. It sounds bad because it was sung terribly the voices were kind of out of tune.. My head gear is around £5000 so it pretty good.. I guess I love classical singing because I used to do it.. This rubbish.. In this universe this sounds terrible
I think you should have a music installation of £ 50,000 at least and boxes of the same price each. This because of your special ears.
