Bose never disappoints so I was really excited about the new earbuds. They more than met my expectations. The only problem I have with the new earbuds is that the wirelsss charging case was removed. Especially with how high the price is. I hope they can fix it in the future
real shame. the lack of wireless charging, the suboptimal size/form, lack of multipoint, and price were already pushing it, but this completely pushes me away. just silly for $300
I've been waiting for this one. Was waiting to hear whether or not you could use each earbud independently. That problem is the only reason why I returned the original QCs. The wingtip was perfect for my ears. I've been using the Pixel Buds A because of the fit. I'm very disappointed in Bose for not fixing this very fixable problem.
I can use mine independently. You have to start with both in the ear and then put one in the case.. The other will continue to work. Has worked on mine for a while now.
@@oscarreynaable how were you able to get this to work if it's not supported? The only way this works is if you're using the right Bud. I've spoken to 2 Bose tech support agents about this (3 if you count the chat from today) nothing was mentioned about a firmware update to fix that. If there's something out there, about it, I wouldn't mind trying again. I really liked those buds.

Got them yesterday, I pre-ordered them. As a frequent flier I was tired of headphones so to save space, earbuds work well. I had the original quiet comfort buds, these are lighter, with more options. Gave them a test this morning on a flight, and they passed. The noise cancelling is incredible, when I took them out the roar of the engines and people chattering took some getting used to... We'll see how they hold up but so far I'm happy. As far as phone calls don't plan on using them for that reason much, but they did sound fine to me and the person on the other end.

I was on a call earlier and somebody nearby was doing construction work, grinding on cement I couldn't hear it at all, the person I was talking to said what is that noise I said what are you talking about? And I took off the noise canceling and I was surprised to hear it!
What's up, Mr. Carter! Just got my ( update ) for my "Bose QC-2 earbuds." The left side earbud works independently now! The update came 02/12/2023. First, you must uninstall Bose Connect app and reinstall it and login again. Then put left side earbud into left ear.Then turn on Bluetooth on your device to trigger off update download. After download is completed, push the button on charger case with the lid opened and pair with your device to the earbud and app and presto! It's finished! In your ear sounds! These earbuds is 2 dose- man!!!!! White Shoes keep stomping lol!!!! Tony G™
I'm a fan of your reviews. I'm glad you said any of the top tier sound could be number one. I think these Bose blow the Sennheiser 3 away in sound but, it depends on what you are looking for. No wireless charging is almost a deal breaker.
Just picked these up and they are nearly equal to the Airpods Pro 2. In fact, I am switching to these. The ANC and transparency is the main features I like about the Airpods and these are equal, except the Bose is also more compatible with Android. However, I am irritated that they don't have wireless charging and that they don't pair to multiple devices. They are some of the more expensive TWS earbuds and this shouldn't be a missing feature at $300, although I got them for $250 on sale. I also do want to mention that you can manually adjust the EQ, which I believe Floss was mistaken about. They had a bit too much bass for my taste and the treble could use more energy so I adjusted manually on my Bose QC II buds and now they are gold!
The only thing I wish they would add is noise cancelation on the microphones. I'm a truck driver and I have the Blue Tiger headset. The microphone has noise cancelation on it and it is spectacular! The person you're talking to can not hear anything but you. The Blue Parrot headset is exactly the same. So that means I have to switch from my Bose earbuds playing to my Blue Tigers to talk on the phone. If Bose put that feature on their mics, they would be UNSTOPPABLE!!
I'm glad to see top tier buds starting to offer wings for stability. The sonys DEFINITELY need them and to also make them more comfortable. Sony also lowkey cheated with their anc by offering foam tips as well.
Love these earbuds. I recommend them over the Sony XM5's if you exercise in them or use them for an active job solely on the more secure fit of the Bose. I did try both.
Bose definitely needs to update the earbuds so that they can be used individually. If not, I can just keep my original QuietComforts and wait for the 3rd Gen
@johnjoe769 They still haven't brought single usage mode onto the earbuds, but I hear that in the spring of this year that they are bringing aptx lossless to the earbuds
To play one at a time, the right one has to be in the case before removing the left to use only the left. If you put the right in the case while wearing the left, you lose connection. Put both in case and take the left out. It works that way. The right, you can do anything with.
Just as a note, these earbuds should be getting a firmware update enabling multipoint functionality and independent earbud use due to the chipset Bose is using with the QC II.
@@BrianGlaze they're supposedly promising features in future updates. That's incomplete. More than one feature too. You don't buy something in hopes that they fix it with updates in the future

I had the Bose QC 1 for 3 months. Lost the right ear bud at work. And that was the end of my Bose QC 1 experience. Still have the left and the case. Sorry Bose imma need the R and L bud to function independently like the low budget Earbuds manage to do.

I got mine today. They are so impressive! Over-the-ear headphones level ANC and very good sound. I think their sound is much better than SONY XM4s, and close to Sennheiser MTW3. Transparency is very natural like you don't wear anything. Just slightly worse than airpods pro when you speak. I think Bose did a huge upgrade over the 1st gen.
@@TONY-ht5tf man I'm really debating which one to get because ANC and ambient mode are really important to me. And those are the only reason I want the QC too but I don't know if it's worth the extra $50. Which would you take between the sennheisers and the bbose
@@pugondabox I forgot to mention that sennheiser supports multi connection after a firmware update a few days ago. Bose doesn’t have multi connection currently.
Regarding the sound quality... So just like the over the ear classic Bose QC45, the QC earbuds II have an EQ in the app which allows you to change the EQ to 4 different presets. Please note that you can also drag the 3 dots for the mids, highs and lows with your finger in whichever direction you prefer, each one of them. The presets are not just the presets and you're definitely not stuck with them. And secondly, personally I noticed on my pair that I personally really love the standard preset, where the mids, lows and highs are all flat. Nothing drowns out any other sound and it just is more detailed in the sound, more of everything in present, while if I turn up the base, either manually with my finger all the way up or by pressing the bass preset, which btw it does not bring the base all the way up, only if you drag it with your finger can you actually bring the base all the way up, but I noticed that in bringing the bass up while also leaving the mids and highs flat, makes them not sounding that equalised, because the bass is more enhanced than the mids and highs which are left flat. I recommend either leaving all of them flat as they are because it sounds amazing, or if you would like to bring the bass up a bit, then also bring the mids and highs along with it, then you'll be able to hear the more details which you mentioned that it seemed missing. I hope I explained this clearly enough.
I’m exhausted trying to find a set of earbuds I like that also have wireless charging. Why is that not a standard by now? Some lines of earbuds have it applied almost randomly across their earbud line like they want to provide options but none of the right ones together..almost like car Manufacturers lately lmao. Without being able to turn off ANC compeltely, and having to wait for a firmware update to fix other missing features, and no aptX or LDAC at this price, I'm sure alot of people would rather wait for the Sony xm5s.

I upgraded to these from my QC Is. The improvement in size, ANC and bass was enough for me. However Bose should open their eyes and do the following: bring back wireless charging, enable multiple devices and enable independent earbud listening. As a plus increase the max volume and reduce case and earbud size even more . BOSE, consider this your 2 year notice.
I have the original QC earbuds in Sandstone color. I love them but there are 3 things i wish they had: better battery, being able to use any earbud at a time, and better sound quality. Besides that, I love these things but I am willing to try other brands... especially B&O or Master and Dynamic although they are TGH. Great video floss and hopefully you can make a B&O or Master and Dynamic earbuds video

Best headphones ever I was shocked they removed the other wing but I like it took time to get used to however idk why they took away the case ability to charge wirelessly. Also definitely had to make sure the fit was right before the gym. And I did like the four lights too
Noise tier- " GOD TIER" Haha love floss. I have the quiet comfort 1 and run with these religiously. They sound awesome and the noise canceling is unlike anything. Looking forward to upgrade!
Yo Floss ... Not sure if you figured it out yet but if you drag in the settings you can adjust the presets base treble mids all are adjustable you just grab it and drag it. 😊

read a reply from Bose about these earbuds on Best Buy. Bose said that to have the ability to switch left and right buds between primary and secondary for independent single bud use will be enabled in a firmware update this year.

I end up liking Bose the best simply because most other strong performers require you to jam the tips further into the ear canal. I know I’m the weird one but I really couldn’t adjust to the feeling of the AirPods Pro 2 for this reason. My personal favorites that I’ve owned so far are the QC 1 & 2’s, Galaxy Buds Live, and the AirPods (not Pro) Gen 2 & 3.
You are not alone. I still have the wired Bose for 80 bucks. But now these dumb phones force me to get either a 3.5 converter that makes cracking noise, or new wireless.. And the old model of these were the only ones that fit in my ear... Looks like I'm going to get these on sale rn.

I just got my qc2 buds, the ANC is insane! Bass is solid too!
I just received my QC IIs phenomenal! Noise cancellation is great, fit is great and so comfortable in my ears! Love them!
Always great Job Flossy. You can actually change the EQ to whatever you want if you don't like the 4 preset stored settings.

I recommend either leaving all of them flat as they are because it sounds amazing, or if you would like to bring the bass up a bit, then also bring the mids and highs along with it, then you'll be able to hear the more details which you mentioned that it seemed missing.

I love my QC earbuds and QC 35ii and I agree with you. After you adjust the EQ is another ballgame .

When buying a earbus my main thing is to be able to use one bud at a time that's how I use my buds while working.
I’m exhausted trying to find a set of earbuds I like that also have wireless charging. Why is that not a standard by now? Some lines of earbuds have it applied almost randomly across their earbud line like they want to provide options but none of the right ones together..almost like car

Without being able to turn off ANC compeltely, and having to wait for a firmware update to fix other missing features, and no aptX or LDAC at this price, I'm sure alot of people would rather wait for the Sony xm5s.

I upgraded to these from my QC Is. The improvement in size, ANC and bass was enough for me. However Bose should open their eyes and do the following: bring back wireless charging, enable multiple devices and enable independent earbud listening. As a plus increase the max volume and reduce case and earbud size even more . BOSE, consider this your 2 year notice.

I have the original QC earbuds in Sandstone color. I love them but there are 3 things i wish they had: better battery, being able to use any earbud at a time, and better sound quality. Besides that, I love these things but I am willing to try other brands... especially B&O or Master and Dynamic although they are TGH. Great video floss and hopefully you can make a B&O or Master and Dynamic earbuds video

Best headphones ever I was shocked they removed the other wing but I like it took time to get used to however idk why they took away the case ability to charge wirelessly. Also definitely had to make sure the fit was right before the gym. And I did like the four lights too

I end up liking Bose the best simply because most other strong performers require you to jam the tips further into the ear canal. I know I’m the weird one but I really couldn’t adjust to the feeling of the AirPods Pro 2 for this reason. My personal favorites that I’ve owned so far are the QC 1 & 2’s, Galaxy Buds Live, and the AirPods (not Pro) Gen 2 & 3.
You are not alone. I still have the wired Bose for 80 bucks. But now these dumb phones force me to get either a 3.5 converter that makes cracking noise, or new wireless.. And the old model of these were the only ones that fit in my ear... Looks like I'm going to get these on sale rn.
