I just bought my pair of AirPods Pro 2 a couple days ago, and while I am blind, so I don’t really care about the color, I agree that the noise cancellation and sound quality were pretty good as far as I’m concerned! Good on Apple for making things accessible! The sounds on the charging case don’t really work as expected, but I expect they’ll fix that in a software update! Thanks for doing what you do man, love from Idaho! 🥔
Floss, the reason you heard a faint of the baby cry was because of the settings for loud noise detection when in noise cancellation mode. You can turn it off in the AirPod settings but it’s a safety feature nonetheless. I think the air pod pro 2s are god tier in the noise cancellation department once you take that feature off.
@@Ghostrrr11 It terms of the size, they are a good fit for my ears out of the box and have definitely been more comfy than the first Gens. For e.g. the Transparency mode on the Gen2s gives you a similar experience like you are wearing the AirPods 3s. It’s that good.
Sound quality was the one thing holding me back on grabbing the pod pros so I’m glad to see the pro 2s are actually that much better. Thank you for actually reviewing the sound quality! Everyone else just glossed over the sound quality differences and that’s the one thing I really wanted to know about.
@@1Cypher price isn’t an issue. I bought the pro 1s and I loved the fit and features, but the downgrade in music quality compared to my Powerbeats pro was too dramatic. I’m aware the beats are going to have better music quality because that’s what they’re meant for, but I’m willing to take a small downgrade for all the upgrades in features and the preferable fit. The reaction from floss is enough for me to go out and try them again. MKBHD just did a review and said the sound quality is noticeably better as well so I trust them.

As a former long time Apple employee I wouldn't even buy Airpods with my employee discount due to the lack of an EQ. It blows me away Apple still refuses to do something so simple thinking their presets cover everything and everybody. I wish they offered them in black too but I can get over that.
I’m pretty into the Spatial Audio now, so my AirPods Pro and Max are for me… Plus the transparency mode is a must have for me at work, and I haven’t tried anything that even comes close. I love bass, but I’m willing to sacrifice a little for the other two features. Loved the video!
@@livewallberg It kind of depends on the producer that mixes it. There are a lot of albums that sound worse. Alice In Chains ‘Dirt’ sounds bad to me in Spatial Audio, but the Beatles albums, Kevin Gates albums and a lot of others sound better in Spatial Audio. Find some songs you like and toggle back and forth.
I was hoping these would be released earlier this year because my previous pair of AirPods Pro bit the dust earlier this year after having them since 2020. The only change that had been made when I bought my second pair is that the case was MagSafe charging compatible. I'm sure by the time another two years pass and I need a new pair, Apple would've made some changes that'll really blow my socks off.

Hey dude. Found your channel recently. Sooo glad I did. I'm using a fold 4 and airpod pro. They're the only ones I can get to stay in my ears. It just sucks that I don't get any features with them. Keep up the great content, my man.
I totally agreed when it comes to calling quality, the AirPods are king. I hope Apple will bring the same AirPods Pro 2n gen. case to the future AirPods 3 case.
I love AirPods but any size does not stay in my ears especially when I’m chewing food lol, they slip out while chewing . Hopefully with new smaller tips will help. Does anyone else have that issue. Floss I LOVE your reviews, do the chew test sweety😊
Great, thorough review. I had the new Sony earbuds for a bit and really liked the noise cancellation and stability in my ears, and LOVED the sound quality and EQ flexibility, but there is something irresistible about the extreme convenience of using AirPods Pro, even if they aren’t as good in those significant categories. I also use Jabra 75t earbuds for running, cycling, gym, and when I need some extra bass during a listening session. The Sonys again sounded better than my Jabras, but the Sonys are still just too BIG for me to use them when laying in bed, or even to confidently ride by bike with them. I would love to buy and keep a set of earbuds just due to their stellar sound quality and noise cancellation, but I also need them to bring them into a more compact package. So far, I haven’t been convinced to trade out my AirPod Pros for daily usage, and Jabra Elite Active 75ts for specialty usage. I am waiting on my order of the new AirPod Pro 2s to see if they are worth an upgrade, though.
@@paulaplanz7713 It’s a bit of a learning curve. Plus I had to manually enter all my passwords and some other stuff from Samsung apps cause they don’t transfer. Was kind of a pain. But I’m getting used to it. I definitely have my dislikes, but I’m getting used to it.
@@mz_marmar89 Because we’ve had a family business for over 20 yrs and all of our stuff runs on Apple and it’s much easier transferring stuff and air dropping information. Plus everyone was always complained about having to send me stuff separately because I didn’t have iMessage or whatever. They weren’t willing to use cross platform apps, so in a sense I gave in because they were always complaining.
These are fantastic compared to the OEs! Richer and fuller, and they fixed the bass! These, Galaxy Buds Pro 2, and Sony Linkbuds S are my go to's. Blew me away how good these sounded on my S22 Ultra (Apple phones are a given)

It answered all of the questions that I had relative to the Airpod Pro 2s vs the originals, the Beats Fit Pros and most importantly, where they fit into your Top 10. I've got a bunch of buds but don't have the Airpods. And thanks to your review, I can now make the best decision for me. I'm gonna stick with the Beats Fit Pro that I have to tie into all of my Apple devices (they pretty much match the Airpods in that regard) and go with the Sennheiser Momentum 3s for music listening quality. IMO, there ain't no perfect earbuds. Ya gotta decide what's most important to you and go for whatever that is (ie Fit, NC, Transparency Mode, Voice Quality, Music Quality, App Features etc, etc.). Thanks again for doing what you do the way that you do it. One!

Honestly, I've been using things since Saturday, and I gotta say that these are some of the best wireless earbuds I've ever used (I'm an android user, so I don't get to use all the features). Still sad about the lightning port being a thing, wished they were usb-c. The sound is excellent, this is some of the best anc I've ever used. Transparency mode is just on a different level. Comfort is amazing as well. Great vid as always, hope you have a lovely day/night 😁

When it comes to buds my galaxy buds + are still good enough for me. I got the gen 3 pods recently pretty great for my casual stationary and walking, not great for laying down. My soundcore headphones are great for laying down and exercise 👌 Great video.

I appreciate your opinion but I have both Ex and airpods pro 2 and I consider airpods Pro 2 only worse in the sound quality but overall better earbuds than the EX because of the case, the size, and the connectivity if you use apple ecosystem. Great job as always ❤
The bass is already quite boosted on these AirPods Pros 2. I would like for Apple to give some options to adjust the EQ a bit more than they do. You should be able to make them sound however you like.

Well I bought them and did not send them back - shocked. My charcoal B&O Ex’s are now reserves for when white is not right. I’ve been blown away by these, after setting up for my ears in the Accessibility settings. I am keen on Jazz and R&B/Blues and Classical. For these they are epic. I spend my working day listening to Bossa Nova background music. So happy with that and transparency mode. Sorry B&O these Apple AirPods pro v2 just stole the show for me. I can’t believe they did it.

Just copped some yesterday and im loving the new sound quality. The bass n mids thumps. And that works so flawlessly over my liberty 3 pros. Waiting on my 14 pro max to see if they make them sounds even better
I’m looking to get these as an upgrade from lib 3 pro as well. Is the call quality significantly better? My L3Ps have a glitch where some calls sound like a glitching robot
@@Triple-6 I don’t no, am not sure about that. They did it with the iMac’s and entry level iPhone’s. Apple’s stile have changed thru the last couple of years brother. From brushed silver metal to colourful phones and computers. Why not do it with the headphones. I would love it, if they did it.

Because there is almost no improvement in terms of sound. 10% more of bass 😂 versus gen1. My galaxy buds blow them out of the water anyway.

If you go to the EQ settings there’s one that brings out the bass more and it should always play like that

@@paulaplanz7713 It’s a bit of a learning curve. Plus I had to manually enter all my passwords and some other stuff from Samsung apps cause they don’t transfer. Was kind of a pain. But I’m getting used to it. I definitely have my dislikes, but I’m getting used to it.
Can I ask why you switched? Most people are kind of set in their ways at this point.
@@mz_marmar89 Because we’ve had a family business for over 20 yrs and all of our stuff runs on Apple and it’s much easier transferring stuff and air dropping information. Plus everyone was always complained about having to send me stuff separately because I didn’t have iMessage or whatever. They weren’t willing to use cross platform apps, so in a sense I gave in because they were always complaining.

These are fantastic compared to the OEs! Richer and fuller, and they fixed the bass! These, Galaxy Buds Pro 2, and Sony Linkbuds S are my go to's. Blew me away how good these sounded on my S22 Ultra (Apple phones are a given)
Thanks Floss!!! I feel like this review was taylor made just for me. It answered all of the questions that I had relative to the Airpod Pro 2s vs the originals, the Beats Fit Pros and most importantly, where they fit into your Top 10. I've got a bunch of buds but don't have the Airpods. And thanks to your review, I can now make the best decision for me. I'm gonna stick with the Beats Fit Pro that I have to tie into all of my Apple devices (they pretty much match the Airpods in that regard) and go with the Sennheiser Momentum 3s for music listening quality. IMO, there ain't no perfect earbuds. Ya gotta decide what's most important to you and go for whatever that is (ie Fit, NC, Transparency Mode, Voice Quality, Music Quality, App Features etc, etc.). Thanks again for doing what you do the way that you do it. One!
Floss.....OUTSTANDING review! I just may make a move on these since I am heavy into the Apple ecosystem. However, let me add that I totally concur that the Beoplay EX is my favorite followed very closely by the MTW3. Keep up the fantastic work bruh!!!!!

Honestly, I've been using things since Saturday, and I gotta say that these are some of the best wireless earbuds I've ever used (I'm an android user, so I don't get to use all the features). Still sad about the lightning port being a thing, wished they were usb-c. The sound is excellent, this is some of the best anc I've ever used. Transparency mode is just on a different level. Comfort is amazing as well. Great vid as always, hope you have a lovely day/night 😁

When it comes to buds my galaxy buds + are still good enough for me. I got the gen 3 pods recently pretty great for my casual stationary and walking, not great for laying down. My soundcore headphones are great for laying down and exercise 👌 Great video.

I appreciate your opinion but I have both Ex and airpods pro 2 and I consider airpods Pro 2 only worse in the sound quality but overall better earbuds than the EX because of the case, the size, and the connectivity if you use apple ecosystem. Great job as always ❤

The bass is already quite boosted on these AirPods Pros 2. I would like for Apple to give some options to adjust the EQ a bit more than they do. You should be able to make them sound however you like.

I just received my AirPod Pro 2 yesterday and actually enjoy the stock tuning for music so far. I just don’t see a reason to avoid having an EQ.

Well I bought them and did not send them back - shocked. My charcoal B&O Ex’s are now reserves for when white is not right. I’ve been blown away by these, after setting up for my ears in the Accessibility settings. I am keen on Jazz and R&B/Blues and Classical. For these they are epic. I spend my working day listening to Bossa Nova background music. So happy with that and transparency mode. Sorry B&O these Apple AirPods pro v2 just stole the show for me. I can’t believe they did it.

Just copped some yesterday and im loving the new sound quality. The bass n mids thumps. And that works so flawlessly over my liberty 3 pros. Waiting on my 14 pro max to see if they make them sounds even better
I’m looking to get these as an upgrade from lib 3 pro as well. Is the call quality significantly better? My L3Ps have a glitch where some calls sound like a glitching robot

@@Triple-6 I don’t no, am not sure about that. They did it with the iMac’s and entry level iPhone’s. Apple’s stile have changed thru the last couple of years brother. From brushed silver metal to colourful phones and computers. Why not do it with the headphones. I would love it, if they did it.
