Honestly I was convinced Samsung was going to make something like this when the first Galaxy buds came out with the built in heart rate monitor and memory. I hoped the second gen would come out with a small screen... Now I'm hoping they make a Huawei style watch buds combo.

Genuinely the first set of earbuds someone has reviewed that I have been interested in
These now show what song is playing on the case screen. Also each time the next song in your playlist starts, the case screen turns on for a few seconds showing you the name of the song without you having to pick up the case or touch it at all.
EDIT: Oh, they also show things on the screen such as when a new email is received in your inbox. Make sure you update your case firmware/software. These screen messages can be turned off in the JBL Headphone app.

Mine's was similar in my jbl 660's. But having those bass levels that high was ridiculous.

I just received my Jbl tour pro 2 and I must say they are impressive to say the least and the sound is balanced in my opinion. The soundcore liberty pro 3 has better bass but that’s it.

Been using these for about 2 weeks now. They are awesome! I use the case to change settings when having the buds connected to my nintendo switch, and at work where i cant use my phone to often. When it comes to volume they are loud, but not the loudest i have used. The loudest buss out there are Sound by Swedens Supra Nero TX Pro. No kidding that i could only use them at minimim vokume and would STILL have problem hearing people talkt to me because of the high volume even in hear thru mode 😂 if you want them loud thats the buds for you (bonus they are ridiculous small). Right now i switch between my JBLs and my Bose QC 2 (would use the Nura Tru pros too but my husband decided those belongs to him now 😅 )

I had the original JBL tour pro earbuds and I can attest that they are super loud. Probably the loudest earbuds I've ever used and I have used at least 50 earbuds. I will probably buy these just because I want that JBL loud sound again. They may replace my sennheisers.
And JBL sound might not be the best but it does satisfy my sound needs, they really tune the sound really different than everyone else.

That touch screen is a game changer. I think they will bring a firmware update in the future to use the screen to its full potential or the replacements will be fully functional.

This is so sick, but also my rebuddle would be like why?? I rather have more battery life. These features can be done on the phone, and on the earbuds themselves. No *need for this. 90% of the time I use headphones are for work, gym and running. Never actually want or have the case near me
Floss, with the case update, you can put a personal pic wallpaper and also get rid of the unlock arrows. Put a picture of White Shoes on there!

This is probably one of the coolest earbuds cases I’ve ever seen yet! Taking customization to the next level. I’m not even mad that these are $250. 😂😂😂
They could take this to the next level... Add a speaker and mic to it and allow it to play music or talk on the phone for the times that you're phone is charging somewhere else and you don't want buds in your ear.
I actually like the idea of "this device can do it all" but to have headphones built in.... man would be kinda cool
I think it's a great idea, and I applaud JBL's ingenuity with the case. But it would be a better idea if smart watches weren't everywhere. There's very little that the case can do that a smart watch can't do and do better
Exactly what I said earlier and why I called it a gimmick.
Not everyone will own a Smartwatch where you have a customized app specifically made for it. Anyone with the earphone will definitely have the case.

I just bought mine.. I'm in love with it. I stopped using my Galaxy buds pro immediately. There's a software update also and you can see the name of the song you're playing when you skip
Once in video of SONY's ear buds video comment section to make a bit smaller ear buds with all the control's available in its case and look JBL took it as a game changer. Same as I am listening JBL speakers now these earbuds are definitely gonna be in my pocket ❤
The screen case is a nice innovation. Yeah seeing the tracks & being able to store songs on the case would be NIFTY.

Honestly, I tried the AirPod pro 2’s and I was really disappointed in the sound quality. They got sent back.
Yes I bought the jbl tune 130nc for about 40 dollars and I would say its the same quality if not better than airpod pros

It looks pretty cool but tbh; I actually never take out the case unless I need to put the buds away. Maybe worth changing the initial approach and utilize this dopeness.

Hmmm sounds like a niche feature for the case, most people use their phone app or the touch haptic controls on the earbuds themselves to control the ear buds. I'm not sold on this.
Your can still use your phone or tap the earbuds. This gives you one more option for a reasonable price. What's not to like?

A $250 price tag for a feature that isn't even necessary (because there's already existing alternatives) is not reasonable. Maybe in a few years time after a few iterations to give it a bigger screen, better software, expandable storage to have songs directly in the case, etc, but not as it currently stands.

Ive bought these and they are very premium.. good sound quantity and noise canceling(if you like that which i dont) the case screen features is a bonus

Well seeing as you still need your phone to make the case fully functional, it's just something else for you to play with, then drop, then break. If you do drop the case and the screen ceases to function, would it still work to charge the earbuds? That is the most important thing.

This is like an iPod which I love. Imagine being able to download songs onto this and then leave ur phone away somewhere but this device can basically call text and do other things for u. Man

The codec is a no go for me. Anything other then aptx or ldac in a crowded location is annoying to use for me due to constant bluetooth drop off.

The best thing about JBL buds are the price drops over time. As soon as these hit $150 I am pulling the trigger. I don't really care too much about the case. I want them because they are loud and have good bass response.
I'm definitely getting these when they go on sale. I have a Charge 5 speaker, and love it.
