I Mock year round. Every season I have some Mocks that become a Communicable Hub. Buck,Doe and the yearlings as well.
For me, the lickin branch is the Key to the scrape. If they are hitting the scrape they have just refreshed it,so,that works in your favor.
I've been Mockin since the summer of 78. I was fortunate enough to be taught by Fred Bear himself with a Tarsal gland and a deer bladder.
If you're not Mockin, you are truly missing out! Great way to inventory and keep em where you want em.
    Good luck this season!

One of, if not the best description of when things happen I've ever seen. Thanks for doing this Ben!

Perfect timing! I’ve got two properties that I’ll be hunting this year, one is 50 acres, and the other is 70. I’ve got some good vines that I’m gonna setup and some cameras to watch them. Should set them up this weekend

Very informative. Thanks for sharing a bit of knowledge. I've learned so much from whitetail edge. I've converted to all black widow scent products and the illusion phaze system. It's been a definite effective change. Where can I find the V doe scent? God bless

Love it and actually learned a lot from this video.. kind of a topic to side with scents.. what’s your opinion on scents with decoys? Would you or do you use a doe decoy with scents? What about scents using a buck decoy. I know this convo can get deep lol but just curious on your thoughts and what scents you would use with either decoy or if at all

I honestly have never dove into the decoy game much.

Do you use the Matriarch all season or just mainly pre rut during the rut? I apologize if you said it in the video and I missed it.

Obviously in the video you mentioned “The V” being a hard to get ahold of product. Is this something you all are making in house or apart of the black widow line of products you use?
I tried doing some research on it and couldn’t find anything

I can see using a dripper if you can hang it up high, like 6ft or higher. But never understood squirting urine on a tree branch or something, has anyone ever seen a deer lift it's leg and pee on a tree branch 5 ft in the air? A buck may check something out once when it smells something but if a mature bucks finds that scent and notices the urine scent up in the air I doubt it's coming back again. Could be wrong I'm no expert but that's the way I see it. The more natural it can look and smell the better.

Here’s 12 different lures to use. That’s $270 worth of lure.

It's HARD to MAKE because it's not whitetail urine. It's from a red stag or sitka deer. One of the reps years ago told me it's not even whitetail urine. Because you can ship it easier etc etc. And when does all pee in a pen a buck can tell there are 40 different deer in a pen peeing. When you hunt Kansas, Iowa, etc the deer care much much less. Ps Ben I know you but don't want to throw my name out on here. Please don't get mad, we both know this stuff is true.

Good content, but please work on not saying the phrase "you know" as much. Like 700 times in this video. Tia
