Imagine if you find this system in a normal game: As your scientists enter it, what they see may only be described as, for no better word, a wasteland, with a cracked world and an orbital ring, thousands of destroyed ships, a ruined aetherophasic engine, shroud entities and the few remaining fleets that rarely shoot at eachother as an echo from the war, that made this system like that, an echo of a distant past...
Context is, in this game you can become the 'Galactic Crisis'. As the crisis, you build the Aetherophasic engine and if you finish it, you literally destroy the entire galaxy and "win". This also makes everyone declare war on you for obvious reasons.

this reminds me of the last time I faced a 25x crisis and the third was the contengency.... I foolishly though 20k fleet cap would be enough to fight them off as I insta wiped the prior two. I jumped my fleets in and the first 6 fleets to land died instantly. at that point I knew it was over..... lol
@@joehelland1635 I don't know how you beat 25 x currently working towards beating a 5 x contingency at 2450 lost last time I will ascend to synthetic so I guarantee them
@@KA-zv3yt its very hard, i worked my way up from 5x to 10x to 25x to 25x all. Havent beaten the last one on 25x and now its even tougher! Most games i can comfortably beat the first 25x crisis, the second is about a 50% for me atm. I always get the contingency last (they are the hardest to beat) I normally play on admiral no scaling, but sometimes i play on GA. Although those games are very hard to beat the ai without resorting to gimicks.

This reminds me of a heavy modded playthrough where everyone is buff to the max with broken OP mods. Needless to say it was so buggy and ultimately ended in a crash game that almost broke my computer... Still though those were the biggest and best battles I've ever fought in.
I would like to thank you so much for introducing to OPUS Rocket of Whispers and their OST. Just hearing the music you used really spark my curiousity.

hmmmm i'm gonna think about it, problem is these games have a LOT of footage this video alone had like 13 hours of raw footage(sessions are played twice a week and goes on for 1-2 months), the entire game would be around 30 hours of footage and my sanity would be lost if i would process all of that...perhaps one day
It took me a month of non-stop playing just to win the game. I decided to doom the entire Galaxy for literally using their power to "defend" a race and somehow they literally agreed with the whole idea. I pretty much decided to punch a hole through most of the neighboring nations' megastructures and claim most planets as my own, afterwards I started to construct the aetherophasic engine while barely having any resources to build it. Luckily I had 6 nations under my rule to lend me resources.
they were also a "Become the Crisis" empire and FORGOT to NOT do the last special project which causes ANOTHER galactic war... i chose to include it as the timing was hilarious (they didn't have enough menace before the battle, but since the battle had so many casualties it gave them enough and trigerred the event once reaching 10k points)
This is what I imagine the war in Heaven had been like. Tens- ,Hundreds of Billions Of People Dead. Hundreds of trillions of tons of resources lost and the remnants of it all being a handful of Civilizations which's past eclipsed them a hundred times over in power and size.
I haven't tried going crisis yet, but I just might sometime soon... I'm doing a Shroud Covenant: Eater of Worlds run right now, and because I just so happened to have genocided half of a fanatic purifier's empire, the rest of the galaxy is mad at me for purging a species... It may be time for them to realize that I can be far worse than they previously thought.
@@alley4978 theres severe tech rubberbanding mods installed (exponentially nerfs your tech effect the more tech you have) and some host imposed NO METAGAMING Rules (hence why i didn't use disruptors in the vid for example)
If the last fleet battle lasted a longer but move a lot more smoothly 2 songs I could think of while watching that battle is 2 The death of gods will from ultra kill Or Armada from 2 steps from hell It would just fit a cinematic masterpiece such as this one perfectly

You move them to the edge of the system so they all go in together better odds that way

this is def one of those games where I like watching it but would never want to play it (like strat does)
