I forgot to get the boot animation for the the games when I recorded it and didn't have time to reshoot.

Love it how you are playing a ported (and in a lot of ways downgraded)version of a SNES game on a handheld that can absolutely play the original.
SNES and Genesis games were never meant to be played on a handheld. The sprites are not optimized for handheld gaming. The Mario Advance titles have stretched sprites that make things easier on the eyes.
It really depends on the games but sometimes the gba ports are just better experiences on a small screen like this. Some games like Zelda link to the past I’ll play the snes version, but super Mario advance for example plays easier than the snes versions on a handheld.
I was just playing that Kirby game!! Love it! Such a perfect pick up and put down game, I just do a few levels at a time 😊

I was watching this, on quest 3, I thought there was a bug because of the screen movement until I saw the Castlevania screen 😆

You can get dawn of sorrow to work on here pretty well. But you need to do the dpad only ROM hack.

got my mm+. if u like platformer like megaman, dkk, mario and all that maybe get a bigger device. bit fidgety with how small the controller is, but perfect for game like pokemon, zelda minish cap. kirby is ok bcs not that fast pace as megaman. the dpad will not be as good as ur xbox controller so keep that in mind.

I would say instead of Zero Mission (which is kind of an essential remake) Metroid Fusion.
I don't think the story is as good, BUT, like Aria of Sorrow, the game is REALLY made for handheld and everything you do is spaced out for 45-60 minutes of play with stopping points between but big points are about every hour of play.
Metroid Zero Mission keeps some of the NES pacing which is not ideal for handheld.
That's a good point, I didn't quite think of pacing being that important.

I got a miyoo mini plus but it didn’t come with super Mario world?? Idk why?
Did you get the optional SD card? They sell a 32, 64 and 128gb version that come preloaded with games. However, even once you get it, you need to transfer the games from the card into the rom file on the miyoo.

Can you save your progress in pokemon?
I use the X55 for my GB, GBC, GBA and NDS emulator. It works great for all of them. It will even play most PSP games and of course all 8,16 and 32 bit home consoles as well.

Why does mine not have Super Mario World in the list of GBA games? I bought the 128gb card. I do not think it’s running Onion. Could that be the reason? I’m new to all this.
I did notice the new card had a few more roms on it. You can always google the game name and ROM download to find it and dump it to the SD card
@@DaveyG yeah I ended up converting it to Onion and downloading the Mario roms I wanted. But before I made this comment I had no idea what a rom was 😂 I still don’t, really. But turns out I love this stuff and I’m having fun learning. Thanks for the help

It's better if you swap out the sd card since the Miyoo sd card is poor quality

@@DaveyG Yeah I get that, just seems odd to reserve a space for that game when there's a better version of that game on this device. But each to their own 👍
@@jamiemartin9322 Better is subjective, really. Some people who have impaired vision benefit from having the larger UI elements that the GBA version offers.

Google ROM downloads for those and then I would install an SD card to the device which should make folders and then drop the games from a pc

3 days ago , I turn on my powkiddy x55 , but when I start to play after 30min or less the game freeze ,and I could not leave the game , so I restart the device and checked if there is a new update (from the device itself ) , I contact the internet and update the device , but after the update finish , the device should turn on and the same opinig show up( the jelos logo ) but after the opining the screen do not turn on , I tried to restart the device and charging it but the screen always turn off after the opening , any one can help ?
Try charging it with a non PD charger it's like under 5V to charge and won't accept certain charging protocol. I had a similar issue that fixing chargers and letting it charger for 30min fixed my issue.
Honestly no point playing the Pokémon they give you, it’s super easy to mod or use a simple randomizer program so you can make get rid of trade evolutions and a bunch of stuff that limits the game
